Dear colleagues!
Does anyone have any information about Satyrus virbius?
Does this species exist? Vladimir Savchuk doesn't have one for Crimea.

Dear colleagues!
Does anyone have any information about Satyrus virbius?
Does this species exist? Vladimir Savchuk doesn't have one for Crimea.

Virbius calls (calls) Satyrus ferula in Crimea, for example, Nekrutenko in 1985

17.10.2016 14:38, Valentinus

According to Bogdanov (2008), there are both ferulya and virbius in the Crimea.

Yes, this year there were no problems with the Ethiopian on the Oka, it's a pity I didn't notice that the females have so different underwear.

Yes, this year there were no problems with the Ethiopian on the Oka, it's a pity I didn't pay attention to the fact that the underparts of the females are so different.

My pair was assembled in 2018. I didn't get to these parts at the right time this year. I am glad that the Ethiopian community is still thriving there.
By the way, there is also a beautiful form of the female of this species, in which the underside of the hind wings is not yellowish, but white.

Does anyone know where Erebia euryale is found closest to Moscow in the EDR? I don't really understand its range here. It's supposed to be a northern view, isn't it?

Does anyone know where Erebia euryale is found closest to Moscow in the EDR? I don't really understand its range here. It's supposed to be a northern view, isn't it?

View of the north-east of the HDI, absent in the Leningrad region. Found only once in Finland. The range extends from the north of Vologda Oblast, through the north of Kirov Oblast and the south of Komi to the North and Polar Urals. It is well described in the books of A. Tatarinov and D. Morgun. It is given for the south of Lake Onega, the village of Onega. Luza (Kirov region) and Syktyvkar. Apparently these are the "nearest" points.
