Please tell ME WHO IT IS??? confused.gif
Flew in the window in Moscow, maybe in the photo it doesn't look very big, but it's really big with a bunch of wings and a huge mustache. Front muzzle like a wasp and there is a sting behind it seems. And the outer wings are stiff like a beetle's. And the antennae, cockroaches just rest!!! eek.gif

This is a barbel beetle (possibly the genus Monochamus). Don't be afraid of him, he's harmless.

Thank you yes it looks like I read it!!
He's harmless, but if he'd been lying low and swooped down on me at night, I'd have laid bricks on him!
Thank you again!

On the keyboard, the keys will now stick.
And you can build a house out of bricks)))

Dear forum participants, please tell me what kind of "beast" is this?
I was walking when I saw it, crawling along the parapet of the lake. I see that this is still a kind of under-grown to an adult state instance. I assume that this is locusts, but not a specialist in all sorts of beetles ))

This is a nymph of a multi-winged dragonfly. Perhaps it's time for the dragonfly to hatch, so it got out of the water (they live in reservoirs). But it's hard to say, there is nothing for scale and in general I am not an expert in this matter, I can only assume that this is some kind of Grandmother, Grandfather or Libellulya smile.gif

Thanks for the reply. Cleared up a little )). Of course, there is no scale, but at first glance it was the size of a thumb.

Thanks for the reply. It cleared up a bit

How is it a bit? Much more than that: You now know that you have met not a locust, but a future dragonfly. They learned that dragonfly larvae live in water, and before turning into an adult, light-winged and elegant creature, they get out of the water to the shore. And what kind of view is it exactly - does it really matter to you? Do you distinguish dragonflies "in the face"?

You are absolutely right, my inner perfectionist did not allow me to write without the word "a little")))
In fact, the question of who this is is successfully closed - the quest is completed, I'm calm ))))
I do not distinguish between dragonflies in the face, I know that there are small, large and Very large))) - I saw it myself on a fishing trip - this is my maximum acquaintance with these insects.
Well, I also went through a bunch of photos on Google, saw what nymphs can be. Approximately understood what kind of dragonfly will turn out (a hefty infection), so
Thank you!

Hello, tell me, what is the set of worms ?!
They left a pile of black spots on the asphalt along the curbs. Piles of 20-25 cm in diameter.
