I didn't find a topic on these dung beetles and decided to create one.
These beetles, in my opinion, deserve attention.
Perhaps the most famous representative of the genus Onitis Fabricius 1798
"Broad-shouldered Onitis"
Onitis humerosus Pallas, 1771
(Scarabaeinae → Onitini)
Kazakhstan
picture: Onitis_humerosus.JPG
Distribution (by Fauna Europaea): European part of Turkey, Southern Russia, Ukraine.
And Kazakhstan is not specified (
However, in my opinion, the view is still many places there. The Europeans are just lagging behind as usual smile.gif

Most likely, the European part of Kazakhstan is not counted there

Most likely, the European part of Kazakhstan is not taken into account there

Maybe. There are a lot of incomprehensible things there.
Recently, the geography of the well-known bronzer Protaetia marmorata was required )
So there in general for Central Russia it is not given. Only the Northern and Northwestern parts and the Kaliningrad Region are listed.
I had to use Plavilshchikov's 1950 determinant to indicate the Center of Russia. The mind is definitely not able to understand these Europeans...
