Dear colleagues!
Please help me. We need specific points for collecting Cossidae of widely distributed species: Cossus cossus, Acossus terebra, Zeuzera pyrina, Phragmataecia castaneae, Paracossulus thrips, Dyspessa ulula, D. salicicola. I would be grateful for any information.
We need your data to create detailed point maps of the ranges of these species. In addition, I will help you identify Cossidae species. Thank you in advance.
Please send your emails to my address cossus_cossus@mail.ru

Cossus cossus! As a child (70s), you used to go to school under your feet on the asphalt a few pieces run around. They carried it in a matchbox. I haven't seen it for a long time now. Back in the late 90s, we flew to the light in the city(Izhevsk). Since then, I have never caught a fish outside the city!

Cossus coccus is found everywhere in all stages: a fairly common butterfly in our country. Caught in the light, right in the city still Zeuzera pyrina (imago): this one is more difficult, but it is. Here it is By the way, it's local.

dear friends, thank you so much for your help. Please note that I really need data for all territories - for widespread types of woodworms. Data on the Urals, Siberia, Ukraine, and the northern regions of the European Russian Federation are particularly interesting. Perhaps there are unfamiliar references to endemic literature. I will be very grateful.

In the Kharkiv region, you can still take a couple of points from here: http://kharkov.naturalist.su/gallery/index...hp?category=451

3 Cossus (?) orientalis in the same place (all for 28-29. 07. 2011)

Acossus terebra (?) Primorsky Krai, Shkotovsky district, Okhotsk farm. "Orlinoe" 24-25. 07. 2011
