The Laboratory of Insect Taxonomy of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Saint Petersburg), Department of Hemiptera (Auchenorrhyncha and Heteroptera) requires a senior curator of the collection.

The duties of the senior keeper of the ZIN RAS are as follows::

1) maintenance of laboratory collections, regular, at least once a year, viewing of collections in order to eliminate pests, change or top up the preserving liquid;
2) participation in the collection and processing of materials during research in accordance with the approved work program. Editing and labeling of collection material, keeping a journal of material receipts;
3) exchange of material with other scientific institutions: sending and receiving material;
4) preparation of equipment for research;
5) participation in research, implementation of necessary preparatory and auxiliary operations;
6) processing, systematization and registration in accordance with methodological documents results;
7) sampling data from literature sources, abstract and informational publications, regulatory and technical documentation in accordance with the established task;
8)performing various computational and graphic works related to ongoing research;
9) participating in the preparation and execution of technical documentation for work performed by the division;
10) performing individual official assignments your immediate supervisor.
