The topic can be any one within the framework of taxonomy, biogeography, and faunistics of terrestrial arthropods. Now I have 4 graduate students working for me: butterflies, beetles, millipedes, spiders. That is, any initiative topic that I believe in. People in third-party groups, of course, with scientific consultants. Now we have a very weak final year. There is no desire to take morons to budget places.
Don't be afraid of Barnaul. It is a large (700 t. population) city, a normal Siberian climate, a great region for expeditions (Altai, Mongolia, Tuva, Kazakhstan). In 20 days, the conversation will be over for this year. Because I will leave for a whole cycle of trips to the Middle East and Central Asia. Asia.
