Thank you for your feedback! How can we display them if we assume that they are collemballs? I have already spilled the cactus with Actara - so far the pot is quiet, but I can't be sure that these insects have been destroyed.
I Googled the information on the account of collembol, according to the description and photos they are not very similar to these beetles. In "my" body without segments, as if glossy and more rounded shape. Flat or not, I can't say. The legs are very thin. At first I thought it was some kind of bedbug, but I didn't find any confirmation. The ground was very dry, and without moisture the kollembols would have floated, but these live here.
Are there any other suggestions as to who it might be?? I would appreciate it!

It is necessary to Google not collembols, but Symphypleona,

How do they differ?

Yes, I Googled it. There is something in common, of course, in the form. But in Symphypleona, the body is spherical, and in these it seems to be flat (I can't say for sure, because I couldn't see it from all angles). And they are completely black glossy color-such Symphypleona do not find... And one more thing. There are suspicions that their larva was discovered: very small, similar in shape, runs fast and jumps well (it was not possible to photograph it). Is this typical of Symphypleona, or does it make sense to discuss the existence of these black beetles with someone else?

If this is really Symphypleona, then what is the best way to influence it?

Good evening! Please help me identify the beetles. Appeared about 5 days ago. Size 3-4 mm. Crawling out of the hood. For some reason, they often lie on their backs. I meet them in the kitchen (1-2 pieces each). once a day) and 1 time in the bath. I live on the top floor. There are pigeons in the attic. Constantly through the hood I hear their purring. Geographically St. Petersburg.

"Photo to the studio". We are not psychics to use this "description" to identify beetles. They can be from toddlers to grains...

But what can you say with this (who did it)? Everything was taken at my CMS at different times.
The leaf is beech.

Good afternoon! I hope you managed to attach the photo. A few weeks ago, these beetles appeared. In the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. 1-2 pieces per day.
Size 5-6 mm. I find them near the holes in the ceilings (plumbing pipes). Reviewed all the products-nothing! It seems that they are not interested in the products. I live on the last, ninth floor, Peter.
Among the features - in almost 90% of cases, they were lying with their paws up (but still alive). When frosts hit for 8-9 days, they disappeared, and now it's plus 2 and they have appeared again.

I ask for help in identifying the three types of animals that are found in my home (MCD, 9th floor of 18).
1. It is rare, mostly in some dusty places, hidden from view.
https://disk.yandex.ru/i/2Hc8SKxjJH_c1Q
2. There are most of them, mostly lying already dead or sleeping on the windowsill. In the video, it looks like it's black, but mostly the beetles are brown. To understand the size , I touch it with a toothpick.
https://disk.yandex.ru/i/kU7HaLezVzHjBg
3. Such I have met so far 3 pieces with an interval of 2 weeks. Apparently, a skin-eating beetle.

Is it possible that all three of them are leatherworms, just at different stages of development?
What should I do to expel them? Thanks

1- ?
2-rather a bread grinder of Stegobium paniceum, but the color confuses (too dark), m. b. the color rendition failed. They are usually brown.
They develop in products: cereals, flour... search for the source and throw it away.
3-ham leatherworm Dermestes lardarius. It doesn't develop in apartments (or very rarely), or it migrates from those locations. a floor where there are nests of birds, or from neighbors, if someone was mummified

Skin-eating beetle larva.

The larva then turns into the specimen in photo # 3?
#2 can't be Smirnov's leatherhead? Clarified that the beetles are brown, in video # 2 with color reproduction something is wrong.

I can't tell the exact species from the larva.

No, it can't. In video 2, not a leather eater, but a bread grinder - Stegobium paniceum.

Good afternoon. Help me identify beetles, my wife is in a panic. Divorced in greater numbers, in the cabinets on the lower shelves, in the carpet, in the sofa. An old wooden house with stove heating and poor ventilation was being renovated. Very high humidity. They found first mold, then these comrades. No one is bitten, no cloth or wood is eaten. I suspect that they feed on mold. Who are you like borots

Hay eaters. the main control measure is to reduce humidity and remove mold...

Strange. I also looked at it, everything fits in the form and description of life, but in all the pictures the hay eater was white - this confused me. Thanks for the help. We need to finish the renovation, heating and ventilation as soon as possible, otherwise there are scales in the kitchen, hay eaters in the room, and you can see who is more terrible to settle in.

31.03.2021 21:46, Dmitry Vlasov

Why white? And there are dark ones. For example, here:

Good afternoon, please tell me what kind of beetles. Appeared in the kitchen, a lot, small <=1mm, on one countertop. We have already gone through all the cereals, pushed everything away, vinegar, borka, wiped everything. Thanks for the help.

greetings!

tell me, please, what kind of miracle animal: they fly from the street, especially active in the evening, because they fly into the light.
the balcony is simply littered with the corpses of these insects - they do not live long.

please help me understand what it is, there is no urine to fight them. injuries-non-injuries reappear from somewhere

If they come in from the street, have you etched the whole street? Don't poison your neighbors!

Moth of some sort, but not from home. It arrives at the light. Sit in the dark or suffer, there is no harm from them. Usually, these moths have a summer duration of only a few days (or weeks. if the weather goes wrong).

23.04.2021 12:59, Евгешка

the apartment is only after a major renovation, these flyers appeared on the balcony in the winter. my husband and I etched the usual insect repellent, but after a while they appeared again.
at first, they thought it was a poplar moth, because they noticed that there were beetles in the house on the windows in the entrance. But the poplar moth can't fly even in winter

23.04.2021 23:52, Necrocephalus

Maybe. Poplar moth overwinters in the butterfly phase, and if in the fall they crammed into your balcony to spend the winter, and then thawed, then this is the very thing.

25.04.2021 15:00, Евгешка

I understand now, thank you for your help!

14.05.2021 14:05, peresvald

Please identify the insect. First appeared today in the apartment on upholstered furniture. It ran in the direction of the man's head.

Please tell me what kind of uninvited guest this is. They found it on the inside of the window, initially took it for a tick (not so long ago we went to the forest) and were scared, but then we looked closer and now we assume that it is some kind of weevil. Is it worth worrying about? Geographically - the south of the Far East.

Please help identify the insect. It appeared last summer on the balcony. With the onset of cold weather, it disappeared, but with the arrival of heat, it reappeared and now moved to the kitchen. A lot of small dark beetles, very fast (they don't fly, but they seem to jump when trying to catch them) They huddle together, but they also run separately. With a mustache. Today, for the first time, I saw adult photos that I was able to photograph. No chemical agents are charged. Panic!!!!

Judging by the video, this is an Ordinary scalefish (Latin: Lepisma saccharina), a small wingless insect from the order bristletails... Scalefish, contrary to popular belief, does not pose a threat to humans. It does not tolerate diseases, and also does not bite or sting. Thus, the insect does not carry a serious danger.

Leg-tails (Collembola), do not pose any danger.

Please tell me how to deal with them? Because even dichlorvos didn't help. I thought that legtails only populate flower pots

Both photos and videos are of low quality. But I didn't see the scalefish. For me, this is a beetle from the family Staphylinidae.

Humidity is important for legwings. Remove the high humidity - they will also disappear, of course, if all the insects you have seen are leg-tails.

17.05.2021 22:19, Sonsband66

Can you tell me who they are? They live in the bathroom and move slowly. Some are lighter, but all are small. Thanks!
