cockroach Supella longipalpa. Cool. we don't have many of them anywhere.

Perhaps, and most likely, there are different insects in the photo. And the photos were taken at different times. On one hand-summer 2021, the other-a few minutes ago.
The one pictured on her arm used to live near the windows in the hall, in the company of several relatives, or alone, sometimes moving to other rooms. Nearby (several meters) from the windows in the hall there are trees. Insects bite.
The second bug was found accidentally on a cat. It is quite possible that the cat picked her up from somewhere on the floor, and she began to stir in the fur. After examining the cat, there were no more insects on it.

Insects are different. In the first photo, a small wasp may sting. On the second - a predatory bug from the family. Anthocoridae. Not bloodsuckers, random finds.

Thank you so much for your reply! So I knew that the second photo is a bedbug. It's a pity, but these random finds were very annoying all summer and part of autumn frown.gif

Hello everyone. Help us determine the hornet's species. Today one of them flew up to me, I kicked it and it fell to the ground. I decided to take a picture of it. Approximately 4 cm long.

Grinders, you can't tell from this photo, but it can also be brownie (Hadrobregmus pertinax) and furniture (Anobium punctatum). Accordingly, depending on the type of grinder, you need to "dance", i.e. choose a strategy for fighting.

Several times I found a semi-transparent bug crawling on the phone screen. you can't crush it, just use your fingernail to crush it. it bursts with a crunch. I caught the last one and didn't push. I took a picture under a microscope. can you tell me what it is?

One hundred ponds caddis flies, the mayfly keeps its wings higher and folded in a different plane, does not run so actively

Good time to all, I didn't find a more suitable topic and I don't want to produce a new one, so I'm sorry if anything.
The question is of this nature. I was given the task to breed a melon fly Myiopardalis pardalina in the laboratory, which turned out to be quite difficult, since the biology of the species is associated with the development of larvae in developing fruits, + pupation in the soil, at a depth of 10-15 cm
, I am still at the stage of reflection, I want to draw up an action plan and thought that there may be brighter minds advice, or at least reasoning.

07.07.2022 23:46, ИНО

My bright mind suggests that you can help this One by one, open links to articles with the titles you like, and if they don't want to give you access, copy the doi and paste it here. Also, don't forget to review the list of references in each article. Maybe it turns out that your problem has already been solved by someone. But if not, then you will have to learn the path yourself by trial and error and, probably, it will take more than one year.

Good day!
Please tell me if your guesses are correct...
1. A bed bug? (previously noticed 3 bites on the shin confused.gif)
I spent the night patrolling the room in search of its relatives - I didn't find it. If it's a bug, I hope it's stray. Although, who knows ...
2. Nogokhvostka? (when trying to catch a friend on tape, he jumped 5-7 cm away from his fingers lol.gif)
I apologize for the quality of the photo.
Thank you in advance!

No, it's not a bed bug. It looks like the larva of one of the predatory beetles that can drink human blood in the heat. But they don't live on the premises.

15.07.2022 3:00, Рина666

They jump on the ceiling, fall on the floor ,jump everywhere, I think they climb from the street, There is a chain link on the window, but they are so small that they don't care, they fly like midges, jump like fleas, crawl like cockroaches, I didn't find any information on the Internet and similar photos, maybe someone knows what it is confused.gif Snapchat_1745141701.jpg

15.07.2022 22:46, ИНО

They don't take pictures in the dark.

15.07.2022 23:58, Necrocephalus

1. If there is a chain link on the window, things are bad.
2." Incomprehensible "and" so " are written together.
3. I would look in two directions-flour eaters (such as Oryzaephilus) or representatives of the Lathridiidae family, since nothing is visible in these photos. Or try to take a better photo.
