Ticks on the rhinoceros beetle

Community and ForumInsects breedingTicks on the rhinoceros beetle

Good afternoon.
A rhinoceros beetle was found yesterday. Behind the front pair of legs on its abdomen, it had a cluster of light yellow mites about 1 mm in size. When falling from the beetle to the table, the tick ran in circles quite quickly, as if looking for its owner. What kind of tick is this, and most importantly, is it dangerous for a person if it suddenly remains in the room when falling?

probably small mites from the genus Poecilochirus. An example of tick and beetle commensalism. They are not dangerous for humans.
