At night, when the house is quiet, there is a faint sound. It's a bit like the sound of an old village door opening and a woodpecker trilling. The duration is about one second. By the end, the intensity and frequency of beats decreases, like a woodpecker. Can you be sure that this is a grinder? The Internet describes it as the ticking of a clock, so I became unsure. It doesn't look like a watch at all. I haven't found any holes in the room yet.

Recently moved into a new apartment. From the products we took with us seasonings, pasta and cereals. Since there is no kitchen furniture yet, all dry food was stored in cardboard boxes in the wardrobe. Recently noticed on the wall in the wardrobe 6 small beetles. According to the description on the Internet, they realized that these are bread grinders.They started looking for contaminated products. A large number of eggs, larvae and adult beetles were found in a jar of Santa Maria seasoning. Made moves and they were all crawling there. They immediately threw out all the dry food. Sort of like the beetles are gone. But a week later, there was another bug on the wardrobe wall.
Please tell me, does this mean that there is still a hearth somewhere? Or is it acceptable that only a few beetles crawl out that managed to get out of that jar of seasoning?
