I regret to inform you that one of the most active members of the site, Yuri Semeykin, has passed away. I've known Yuri for more than ten years. He was a friendly person, always ready for communication and discussion. Condolences to the relatives and great personal regret about the passing of a wonderful person... Farewell on Wednesday, November 16, near the residential complex of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences at 10 o'clock. Cremation at the Marine Cemetery at 11 o'clock.

Bright memory of Yura! I grieve. I lost a close friend, whose help and support I knew in the most difficult moments of my life. For me, the Far East has been connected for 8 years with the hospitable home of my dear Semeykins. I always brought Yura everything I found in the taiga for growing up.. And he was happy to arrange a new find in another cup, of which he had a great many on the shelves.. And then he shared the output of the next endemic or non-endemic, equally happy with the successful result. His infatuation was contagious. And this fall, before the first snowfall, he patrolled the neighborhood with a camera in his hands and rejoiced at each new find.
