New photogallery

I don't know if this is a mistake. Request in the new gallery "Photos": https://insecta.pro/photos?cap=Heteroceridae&;geof=&geos=&stag=0&fem=0&prec=0&xs=0&author=0 In the middle of the "cloud" of photos, there are photos without previews-supposedly the photo was not uploaded from the server. When clicked, it opens normally. P.S. they are all from the macroid... =)

In fact, the idea is interesting - to make an integrated database from different sites on insects. For example, I have more than 30 thousand photos (for them there are more than 3 thousand taxa). It is simply unrealistic to fill them here, especially in this mass there are dynamic manipulations. And there are enough such sites, the same macroid.ru, the same alsphotopage.com. You can go even further and collect not only the photos themselves, but also points on the map, create regional lists, and so on.

Мысль нормальная на мой взгляд. Ну а критика народа насчет достоверности... так а где достоверность эту взять, если это просто фотки. Достоверность в музее и в гениталиях. И то вот - новые виды описывают / исследуют и переопределяют даже в музеях. Новая революция с Graphosoma как раз подвалила... :)
Ну а тут такой же контингент, примерно как и на макроиде. Разве что на molbiol уровень повыше, но там систематику не хотят вводить, я как-то предлагал - отказались. Хотя наверное база фоток самая грандиозная, да и уровень определения явно повыше, дальше уже по-моему некуда.

And how often does it update its cache or index? I can't find many interesting photos, but they are definitely there =)
