Vadim, I know of 306 species in the Volgograd Region, and there are actually at least 400 species of weevils. There are 12 species of the genus Otiorhynchus reliably known from the region . Give us photos to at least understand what species we are talking about, because species of this genus, as a rule, do not live in houses - these are steppe, mountain, and less often forest-steppe species.

This species, as far as I understand, is now considered as a synonym of javanus Guérin-Méneville, 1841, and individuals from Russia, China, and Korea as javanus ssp. decoratus Reitter, 1879. The specific name luniferus is not even included in the Catalog of Palaearctic Coleoptera-Volume 4, 2007 https://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/rus/elateind.htm. So far, I'm leaving it on the DV Identifier ...
Eugene ! Apparently, this was one of the reasons why a number of insects from different orders ( not just beetles) were not included in the qualifiers and even catalogues. In the new ones, it will probably be only when it is.
Vasily is absolutely right! In many ground beetles, both imago and larvae overwinter. This is a common thing. And not only in ground beetles. Other similar issues: camera angle when uploading a picture! In beetles, it can simultaneously be both on the side and on top, and in front of the top, etc. Look at the Macroid for how it's done. There you can put several "ticks" at the same time. Yes, and ...
And as soon as you remove it, beaconite, I'll put it in place from scratch - there are all one illustrations there.
E. opaca : I have found the original description of Crotch, but it's in Latin and not very precise. I'm vainly tryinf to find a photo or a drawing of this sp.
So I didn't post all the captured species :) Why upload if there are already a dozen good pictures from the same places on the website. But you can estimate approximately of course. In general, Noctuoidea has 135 species, and specifically Noctuidae - 62. This year I have not posted practically any of them.
