Hi !

I have no idea about this beetle caught in Northern Thailand.

The size is 30 mm and the tarsal formula is 444.

It is really Encaustes, perhaps, E.opaca, because of color pattern and clearly visible elytral costae.

E. opaca : I have found the original description of Crotch, but it's in Latin and not very precise. I'm vainly tryinf to find a photo or a drawing of this sp.
