Ornithoptera aeacus. [PC81].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Wingspan 100-140 mm. Similar to T. helenus but HW (hind - wing) with black dusting on the inner edges of marginal spots in spaces 2, 3, 4, sometimes in space as well especially in male. Female, black submarginal spots not conjoined, but with black dusting in space 2 and 3 in thomsoni, black dusting not clearly present in aeacus, however, differs from female T. helena - f. eumagos by having white markings along the FW (fore - wing) veins. [144].
