Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The top of the wings is black and brown. The ocular spots inside the rust-red band are large, with a pronounced white core; there are only two such spots before the apex of the forewing. On the underside of the hind wings-distinct white specks. Females are lighter than males. [85].
