Vasiliy.Vopros: I have no Pavon in the collection, it so happens that we have, they do not fly. Do not tell me where you can buy a pair?

19.06.2013 20:39, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22566

Basil. Big thanks to him!

PS. And if your dude staring at Google and there instead of Cyanea, pops Caerulescens, I have it with a mustache. You can check foty.

Not lazy, looked at his euph. Four of them are similar to each other as brothers, 4 more - like cousins, I got it from odnog nezabugornogo guy, he, in turn, from Africa (I do not associate with Africa - where some crooks). So, Africans do not bother signed and stamped envelopes butterfly title (I have a lot of bags left), maybe that is not so nashtampovali. If your man correctly identified, it ...

Peter. Can you give me the picture number, as E.syanea not on the list, and I'll try to remember from whom he received the butterfly and restore justice.

Petr.Chto means - eeh? Not that country called Honduras?

18.06.2013 18:58, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22390

It seems, glaucippe. Subspecies can not be determined. Met with such in Tae, just more grasping at Sachek, not foto.Da shy and they, unlike, for example, from Juno or Tsetozy.

07.06.2013 19:45, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22002

I do not think, even though they all messed up, as well as with violacea - someone considers a separate species, like on our website, one subspecies helenok - disassemble itself. Here is the site: http://stembol.com/morphidae/morpho/family_morphidae.htm Group deidamia Morpho_deidamia_erica deidamia (Surinam, Bolivia, Amazon) Morpho_deidamia_neoptolomous neoptolemus ...

Eugene. I have a lot of Sarpedon from southeast Asia, including and caught me, mb of them lost and Milo. Please, can you explain where these spots are, at the edge or anywhere else? Because it is in the image of different sites that are not visible.

25.05.2013 13:50, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22007

Here like everything is clear - to drag Swallowtail! But what's the difference Graphium sarpedon Gr.milon- from me I do not understand. Maybe specialists prompt ???

25.05.2013 11:31, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22007

Vasily rights. Just some sites sometimes omit the name of the species and subspecies once allowed. This is especially true Morfidov and papillomas. I met M.luna, M. phanodemus, P.stockleyi and others.

07.05.2013 17:57, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22007

On the label was written Papilio aliaska. Yes, it is similar to P.zelicaon and even P. polyxenes, but the first difference that strikes the eye - is the lack of black spots on the lower wings red eyes.

07.05.2013 17:43, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #22002

Morpho granadensis

07.05.2013 11:45, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21917

Surely this C.pomona.Ona much smaller than ekz.21911. Besides other colors and there are no points in the central part of the wing.

05.05.2013 20:01, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21911

Can Satopsilia pomona?

30.04.2013 16:24, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21894

What I noticed, P. polytes is actually not a faster, regularly doesn't fly higher than 2m above the ground as against P. memnon which are quite spread in Thailand and may be spotted in flower beds only.

Papilio polytes female.

14.04.2013 14:57, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21704

Though I won't be surprised to know this is sappho after I met Junonia in United Arab Emirates just the same as was in Thailand.

14.04.2013 14:30, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21704

What, sappho finally flew to Thailand? Just like Danaid.

14.04.2013 14:25, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #20752

Yeah, nothing to do in Thailand but paint caught black-veined white butterflies with watercolours. Seriously, I've got some pics in nature, can show when back from Vietnam. Or do Thai guys still paint them, like kind of speciality?

Looks similar to Adhemarius fulvescens. I checked Costa Rica Sphingidae in this useful species list: http://tpittaway.tripod.com/silk/satlinks.htm.

03.04.2013 20:58, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21295

Quite similar. I've got its male labelled, but it's about 4—5cm smaller, so doubt.

03.04.2013 17:52, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #14502

Hm, somehow I can't. Petr, please help? Better to remove 13975.

03.04.2013 17:51, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #14502

Right, will delete that one in a moment.

02.04.2013 19:12, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21645

Manduca, can't make further ID.

02.04.2013 18:40, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #20599

P.polytes, I think, is the most common swallowtail in Southeast Asia, at least in Thailand.

02.04.2013 18:37, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #14519

Lost somewhere between pics, but as I can remember this is H.anomala.

Xylophanes loelia underside.

01.04.2013 17:48, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21632

Ok, tomorrow will add it.

01.04.2013 17:48, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21636

Might it be M.helenor marinita? Looks very alike. Usually traders raise them. I'll add a pic tomorrow, underside is just the spitting image of this.

01.04.2013 15:17, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21632

Dmitry, they came non-identified from Costa Rica, and H.eson has had this label since long ago by Ins.col.shop. It's also here, on the website. Both look quite similar. I can add its photo, like that game Find 10 Differences.

30.03.2013 14:47, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21632

Looks very similar to Hippotion eson, but I've got the latter from Central Africa. Such a wide distribution?

28.03.2013 21:11, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21609

I looked more on the web, found in biolib, they joined alcolius and bachus, whilst neyi was left as a different species. Whom to believe?

28.03.2013 20:28, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21609

28.03.2013 18:17, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21609

Pterourus bachus chrysomelus (Rothschild & Jordan, 1906). Those sources I checked didn't join this with zagreus. Also there was Pterourus ascolius (C. Felder & R. Felder, 1864) as a different species. If join them, then they should be combined with all the rest Pterourus neyi (Niepelt, 1909).

28.03.2013 16:45, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21608

h.marinita.

28.03.2013 16:43, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21608

New colour variation M.helenor marinata (to me at least). Can anybody say if it's aberration or just a variety type?

28.03.2013 16:23, Alex Dumchus: comment on Morpho montezuma

Well then godarti there too. Her way is not in the list of species on the site.

28.03.2013 16:08, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #21544

Last year here in Rostov region we got lots of both species, in the beginning of June it was N. polychloros, then at the end of June was N. xanthomelas, and a week ago I saw a couple of polychloros just before the snow.

28.03.2013 16:01, Alex Dumchus: comment on Morpho montezuma

Question for another morph: M.violaceus now also subspecies M.helenor? In different sources and write and so
