Why couldn't take pic with white background? And the very photo is not good quality. Whilst Vasily's recent pics are really great! Updating previous loads. I too should take some time one day and reshoot all my morphos and papilios.

Is there anywhere else to describe these procedures?

25.10.2013 15:33, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #23897

That requires good equipment and some knowledges in genetics. I turned out to get technical diploma and even candidate degree, not relevant today though.

25.10.2013 15:23, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #23897

And where does the cooking genitals? This is giving a decent view zagamachennoy butterfly. It will be pleasing to the eye and warm the soul. A trunk, and remain sp ... if you do not help with the determination.

I think that this, too Samia tetrica

23.10.2013 21:37, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #24147

Vasily, I think this is way much easy, the moth was collected there long ago and deemed as a subspecies, S.kanningi or S.insularis. Then those guys decided to describe it as a new species (opposite to swallowtails which get combined for some reason — scientific ambitions). Turned out that.

23.10.2013 20:21, Alex Dumchus: comment on photo #24149

I think Samia kohlli, male
