Now when uploading several images of the same specimen (upperside, underside, other parts as well as different stages such as imago, larva and so forth), you may link them in the "Uploaded images" section of your Member area (before they're posted), or on the species photo page (after posting).
Please mind that it's meant for to link photos of the same specimen, not species!
So let's say there are A, B and C photos of the same specimen. Here's the technique.
If the photos are already posted in the gallery, open one of the species photo page and write in the field "The number of another photo of the same specimen" the number of another image. Press "Add", then go on with the rest as before. In our case we should open A photo page, enter there the number of B photo first, next do the same with C photo. Thereby all three photos get linked, no need to link besides B and C images, if they're both already linked to A photo. So one month later we're to upload D photo that belongs to the same specimen that A/B/C, we just open any of the previous photo page (either A, B or C) and add there the number of D photo.
Other photos of the same specimen are shown in the right column above the "Other photos of the species" on the species photo page.
In case if the photos are uploaded, but not yet posted, open the "Uploaded images" of your Member area, then fill up the B and C photos fields "The number of another photo of the same specimen" with the number of A photo. You may herewith add at one time numbers of several photos, including those from different groups (namely, photos of different specimens), just try to do it right not to confuse things. The numbers of other photos of the same specimen are seen below the field "The number of another photo of the same specimen".
I'd like to ask photographers to spend some time to check your previously uploaded photos (see all of them in the Gallery where you easily sort them out by your name in the "Photographer" list) and link together images of the same specimens.
See how it could work: http://lepidoptera.pro/gallery/13780.
