I am writing a course on the topic "Results of studies of individual variability in insect populations under the influence of environmental factors"
however, as my supervisor said, this is still a draft version of the topic...

Please tell me the literature mol.gif

Somewhere I have an abstract on the topic "Ecological analysis of fluctuating asymmetry of elements of the melanized pattern of the cover of the soldier bug (Pyrrhocoris apterus L.) in various ecosystems", Khorolskaya E. N., Saratov 2006.

If necessary, I can share it. True, it is photographed.

My thesis topic for the Regional Student Conference No. 64 was held in the field of studies of individual variability in populations of Adalia bipunctata (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) under the influence of environmental factors in the conditions of Kazan. Took 1st place. There is a rich illustrative material and data on the correlation variability of the degree of melanization of the elytra of beetles in the local population for 7 years (1998-2005).

I would also like to compare the asymmetry of Pyrrhocoris apterus with that of Adalia bipunctata. Fortunately, the coloration of these insects has quite similar elements (color, pattern of elytra and pronotum, etc.).
