I remember that in 2009, too, in the spring, it was a little dry in March and April, and there was little green grass. And in 2008, the rains in March and April were such that by May the grass in the sand was waist-deep.

Strawberries usually bloom in June in the open ground, berries in July. In the greenhouse, strawberries bloom in April, berries appear by the end of May, 20-25 numbers.

But by midday, the first clouds appeared, and with them - a squally wind. then for a couple of hours clouds covered about 80% of the sky, but by sunset it cleared again. There is a lot of snow only in the city, but in the fields most of it has come down: the black soil absorbs sunlight like a sponge and drowns the snow, leaving only hanging on the grass. Icicles hang from the trees. There's a lot of dirt.

The morning weather worked wonders: flies and chironomids flew out en masse, despite the frost, although in the afternoon they had to quickly hide so as not to be blown away. And in the evening, the first female Polistes gallicus of the year and the first mating of soldier beetles were marked on the wall. Crows carry branches to their nests, jackdaws have moved back into the cell tower, so despite the anomaly, some phenological processes are taking their course. But there will be no flowers or bees by March 8. In general, the phenological winter of this year, despite the relative mildness, threatens to set a record for the duration, because it began in the second decade of November! Not otherwise global warming is to blame (as stated by American scientists about the causes of the recent anomaly in Texas).
