Caucasus, Elbrus region, Chegem gorge, VI. 2016

Wingspan 22 mm

Most likely Tenthredo mioceras. It would also be nice to take a photo of the face and a general view down

Empria candidata?

With this genus, not everything is so simple: not only are there no keys for larvae of many species in the determinants, but the keys for adults are very incomplete. At one time, I sent a couple of dozen empria to the Germans for identification, and as a result, several species immediately came out, which I did not dream of. How they differ is not written anywhere and, probably, only the Germans know this. There was no time to deal with this kind, but it would hardly have worked. I think that it is simply hopeless to determine them to the point of view from photos.

PS: Empria candidata just differs well from other species both in terms of signs and general habit. Details can be found in the same green identifier. The same signs are written in foreign literature. The female can already be seen by the characteristic color, in the photo just it. Males may be dark with a weakly developed white pattern, but they always have a notch on the subgenital plate. You can see what this clipping looks like here http://bdj.pensoft.net//showimg.php?filename=oo_20224.jpg

M. O., Lishnyagi, 3.10.2016
What they eat I don't know, it's difficult to take pictures constantly running around looking for a place to weave a cocoon.

According to the adult also Cladius pectinicornis is obtained

and here it is:
Moscow region, pos. Poplar, on the plum 26.06.2016

Although the Lorentz and Krause larval identifier clearly indicates Pareophora pruni, doubts remain because of Pareophora collaris, an introduced species from Japan, found in France and for which, as far as I understand, the larva is unknown.
For the latter, the question remains : was this P. collaris found anywhere in Europe other than France? In Russia?

Moscow region, pos. Poplar, on the plum 26.06.2016

According to the Pareophora pruni imago, it was determined correctly. Pareophora collaris is distinguished by the red border on the prothorax (so they say, I did not see it myself). The other two species in this genus are completely black. So there's no one else.
And why did they assume that P. collaris is a Japanese zaslanets?

About the Japanese-really, some nonsense. I'm sorry, I made a mistake.
Thanks!

In the article where Pareophora collaris was described, another species is given, so it is marked for France as an introduced species)) Judging by the German databases, P. collaris was not found anywhere else in Europe, and it was not found in Russia either.

At the expense of males Andrena-in spring species of this genus, males appear before females. Maybe the females haven't come out yet and the males are looking for them?
By the way, I said something stupid about Andrena clarkella. A different view.

1.Lasioglossum
2.On Dasypoda is not very similar....

I also thought it was an Andrena variants-judging by the shins of the hind legs. Or not?
They flew in two sizes - some were one and a half times larger than others. I thought the big ones were females. And then I saw from the photo that they were all males.

Here is another indeterminate bee, which was slightly higher at number 3 - in other angles.
