Hello, forumchane!
There were two kinds of wasps on the balcony
: the first built a small pitcher and dragged caterpillars there, then built another one. I'd like to know the name of my neighbor.
And the second ones pay for the flower pot, make holes in the ground and store some cicadas between the roots of plants. There are a lot of Oss, but they don't bother me . Also interested in the name)
Sorry for the quality of photos I took on a mobile phone Place the southern coast of the Crimea.user posted image

Let's go together. or rather, they flew...

Gans75, Formica (s. str.) sp., no longer visible, shumodav all the hairs "shaved off". April 22 is very early for any formica, didn't you have a winter there?

Woodmen, some camponotus. What do you have in the fauna? On our, European, something is not particularly similar.

P.S. Although, wait, maybe she has some red parts of her body hidden under her wings? Can't you take a side photo? It seems that you are not as Oriental as I first thought, the species should only be Northern European, of which, perhaps, it can only be C. herculeanus.

Camponotus ligniperda or Camponotus herculeanus, female. The wings make it difficult to be more precise.

It is unlikely that ligniperd, she would even "enlighten" red through the wings. In general, a cool uterus, it's a pity that it's winged. We have such, alas, do not live.

26.07.2017 17:53, Woodmen

Apparently Camponotus herculeanus.
Updating it.

The second is someone from Crabronidae, Pemphredoninae, Psenini.
Nothing can be said about the genus or the species at this angle and resolution. To be honest, even the gender is not determined.

No, of course not. This is not a sawfly, but one of the ichneumonids.

Hello!

Please help me identify the insect. It really scared the child.

It was found on the territory of the north-western part of Mongolia in July.
On the lakes: Dorgen-Nur, Khyargas-Nur.

Unfortunately, there is no photo, it was drawn from memory. We looked through a bunch of photos of hymenoptera, but we didn't find anything like this.

Aggressive, annoying behavior. He's not afraid of anything. Eats pollen on flowers.

The body is hard, I pressed my shoes into the sand - it didn't hurt. When flying, the buzz is low frequency. A two-part body, like that of a wasp, was not noticed. The body is black with one yellow ring. The wings are dark. The sting, like a hornet's, was not noticed. The length of the calf is about 3 cm.

We went to Mongolia and these places three times, but we didn't notice these insects before.

Please help me identify or find another way/place to identify this insect.

Thanks!

Recently, this red wasp appeared in Central Asia. Maybe one of the experts can tell you what kind of information it belongs to and where it came from.
The picture was recently taken in Tashkent.

The drawing lacks many important details, including the shape of the proximal part of the abdomen.....But I suspect you might have just overlooked the stalk. In this case, it looks like a representative of the Scoliidae family or the Stizoides genus.

Yes, it's probably Stizoides.
Sawyer has nowhere to live there. But in the dunes of Stizoides is the best.

Thank you so much for helping me identify them.

Polistes wattii.
I heard these legends about the" recently " appeared wasps of this species back in the late 70s. For some reason, the local population called them "American girls".
In fact, it is one of the most common native species in Central and Central Asia. No one imported it, and it lived here even before humans.
