I understood the bins of the motherland, I found such a vespula, like except for Vespula germanica (Fabricius 1793)nothing fits, but this one has a tenderloin of eyes, whiskey and a platypus on the edge of red-brown, maybe some subspecies, in general, from where it can be. confused.gif I was in tomatoes, but I couldn't find out where the tomatoes came from.

Most likely Vespula germanica, apparently something affected the color.

Yes, a typical female Vespula germanica. No subspecies. wink.gif
As for the red spots, this is an artifact. Caused by exposure to external chemicals. For example, an increased concentration of ammonia, which is released by ripening tomato fruits. umnik.gif

This is Symmorphus I'm leaning towards crassicornis female, though as a variant of murarius (nothing to compare the pits behind the ocelli with). 15-16 mm. Indeed, a longitudinal depression is visible on the first tergite. Behind the eyes are depressions with hairs. The top of the chest is covered with long hairs, just like on the head. The parietal fossa is located close to each other. The sides will break. segments in irregular folds, some raised. The lower legs are mostly yellow. 1st tergite in rough, rather thick dotted line. On the top of 2-3 tergites, the points are rougher than on the rest. There is a roller on the fold of the first tergite, but it doesn't really stand out all the way. There are no yellow spots on the chest, only on the pronotum. The handle of the mustache is yellow-red at the bottom.

Yes, everything is correct-the female and male philanthropists (something too much has appeared in the Moscow region today).

In addition to the triangulum, what other philanthropists are found in the Ministry of Defense?

Epeolus. Caught in June in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, sandy slope. The male seems to me to be something like cruciger Panz or variegatus L
The front keel is not extended to the antennal cavities. The handle of the mustache is completely black.
The spines on the upper lip are located from the top, near the center of the lip. ON the 1st tertigue, the second sling is interrupted quite widely, the first one with a darkening or narrowly is not clearly interrupted.
Midspine densely and roughly dotted. The 2nd sternite is shiny, dotted with clear, scattered dots in the middle. Median field of the gap.the base is matte in the center, and quite shiny on the sides. The thighs are mostly black, with rather large red stripes on the outside of them. Abdomen without red color. The posterior part of the last sternites (border) is colorless and thin.

It can be both. And not only them.
Just take into account that the name Oxybelus victor Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, 1845 is a junior synonym for the name Oxybelus haemorrhoidalis Olivier, 1812, where it was" driven " by Beach and Leclercq (Bitsch, J., and J. Leclercq. 1993. Faune de France. France et régions limitrophes. 79. Hyménoptères Sphecidae d'Europe occidentale. Volume 1. Généralités – Crabroninae. Fédération Française des Sociétés de Sciences Naturelles, Paris. 325 pp.)

26.09.2011 17:10, akulich-sibiria

Oxybelus tends to vigor (Oxybelus haemorrhoidalis Olivier, 1812,) male. Caught in the south of the region, 17.06.11 near the road on lapchatka between a pine forest and a sandy slope. 6 mm.
Pubescence at the top of the forehead and closer to the eyes is different. At the top, they are raised, pressed against the eyes.
Mustache: rather dark, brown on the inside.
The 2nd member of the hind legs is long. The lateral scales of the posteriorph are bifurcated at the apex.
Sternites without hair bandages.
The last 7th tergite is red. The mandibles are light, only darkened at the apex.
2nd sternite with large and rare dots, especially in the center. Median blade of the platypus with a keel in the middle, which is quite sharp at the top. It is difficult to say whether it has the shape of a sharp keel or a roller.

In my opinion, this is still O. quattuordecimnotatus. Too thick and rather uniform punctuation of the 2nd sternite of the abdomen. In O. haemorrhoidalis, broad smooth margins are developed in the middle part, and the dots are not of equal size.

Pemphredon lugens Dhlb female. Minusinsk, southern region. The edge of the forest.
The 2nd return vein flows into the first third of the 2nd radiomedial cell. The 2nd radiomedial cell is not square, but longer.
The 3rd part of the mustache is three times longer than the width.
The front edge of the platband has two deep recesses.
unfortunately no matter how I twisted it no matter how I played with the light I couldn't remove the top of the platband

Wasps are found in fairly large numbers on sandy areas near Minusinsk, southern Krasnoyarsk Territory. I think this is Bembecinus hungaricus Friv male, but according to burrowing wasps in Kazakhstan, there is another similar species – B. sibiricus, maybe this is a synonym? Nemkov gives the synonym Styzus sibiricus for Bembecinus hungaricus Friv...
In general, about 8-9 mm. Sides of the gap. segments are shown as obtuse angles. The entire platypus is yellow, with the forehead down to the antennae and narrow stripes along the inner side of the eyes. Posterior corners of midspine with yellow spots. The shield is black.
The sling on the first tergite is broken.
some individuals have a black spot on the upper lip and yellow spots on the side of the scutellum

The situation here is not entirely clear.
Some authors consider B. hungaricus and B. sibiricus synonyms, while others consider B. sibiricus to be a special subspecies.
The first point of view is supported by both Cazenas and Nemkov. But the second one, after Tsuneki, also appears in Pulavsky's catalog [http://research.calacademy.org/sites/research.calacademy.org/files/Departments/ent/sphecidae/Genera_and_species_pdf/Bembecinus.pdf], and in the most" recent " revision of the Schmid-Egger genus
[http://www.fsagx.ac.be/zg/Publications/pdf%20zoologie/1501-1550/1522.pdf By the way, Stizus sibiricus Mocsáry in Mocsáry and Szépligeti, 1901 was described precisely from the vicinity of Minusinsk.
I personally have not reviewed this genus, so I do not have my own point of view.

Midrib in thick spots, forming longitudinal wrinkles at the back.
Mid-chest flanks with delicate longitudinal folds.
Back of the sides of the gap. a segment without side keels.
Tergites (2-5) with lateral yellow elongated spots.
Side parts of the gap. the hair is thinly wrinkled.
The 3rd part of the mustache is long, at least 3 times as wide.
