Kazan. caught on the street on the fly. Length 3.8 mm
What is the view? According to the Fauna, I go to the Megatoma, but we seem to have only Megatoma undata undata, and there are white baldrics and antennae of a different shape.

12.05.2010 10:44, Dmitry Vlasov

Now there are other Megatoms in the ERD. Plantago seems to have a reference book of stock pests from 1999 in the library. There are defining tables. The photo is not real....

Do you have a photo from above?

Do you have a photo from above?

Unfortunately not. Many images were lost due to unforeseen circumstances...The beetle is quite large. Somewhere 6-8 cm.
But I'm also interested in these dung plants ( Zimbabwe). They are 2 times less.

the first beetle is from the family Scarabaeidae, it belongs to the Coprinae. Something not far from Heliocopris..
the latter are the same, but closer to Gymnopleurus or Scarabaeus. I don't know the beetles there, so I want to make it clear who they are in general..

12.05.2010 22:16, Bad Den

The first is a female of some Heliocopris
The second is a beetle with a ball-Garetta sp.
