Compsapoderus erythropterus looks like a small shiny A. coryli, usually lives on herbaceous rosaceae.:
http://www.colpolon.biol.uni.wroc.pl/apode...ythropterus.htm
http://www.galerie-insecte.org/galerie/apo...thropterus.html
This beetle is just more like erythropterus, but there seems to be something close to DV, you never know.

If Melanthaxia, it is unlikely from the photo... Look at the DV or the "fauna" - suddenly it turns out that. In general, it is interesting.
And about my elephants http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...33597&st=10832#

2 elephants with nettles-Phyllobius pomaceus IMHO
your otiorinhov do not even imagine-the beetle resembles O. rotundus, but this is a poke method.

Either on the upswing Otiorhynchus (Proremus) smreczynskii
If this is exactly Otiorhynchus and then on Poyras 2006 we do not have rotundus, but the genus is also a great help.

06.07.2010 15:51, Fornax13

This is definitely otiorhynchus. Smrechinskii, as far as I understand, without spots usually: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...hl=smreczynskii
Do you have this checklist? It may be there under the name O. rotundatus Siebold, 1837

2. Western Sayan Mountains, Borus. On the road, on the grass. Something from Nitidulidae, I can't go to the genus, maybe there will be some options? about 2.1 mm. The mace is indistinct and 3-segmented. The process of the prothorax between the basins is sharply descending. Underparts, scutellum, preshitkovaya area of elytra, part of the crown are black.

3. Elephant from the birch tree. Western Sayan Mountains. Borus city. 2 mm. Black, the grooves are very clear, there is no claw part of the foot. On the sides of the pronotum and on the base of the pronotum are rounded few setae. Could it be Anoplus setulosus?

good evening, if you can't help me with this bug.
Zernovka was found in Misha from Uzbekistan. Length 3.2-3.4 mm. The middle of the pronotum base has a double tubercle (not raised and weakly expressed), covered with white hairs.
Pygidium with a longitudinal white stripe in the center. Hind thighs grooved at the bottom, with a pair of teeth spaced at the top. The inner sides of the groove are smooth, without denticles. Pronotum without stripes. The antennae are unfortunately broken off. BUT on the 7th from the bottom you can see some kind of appendage.
Elytra at the base with a triangular spot covered with white hairs. Behind the middle on 4-6 intervals with a spot of white hairs.
Alternatively, Callosobrochus maculatus
