I'm not going to argue with you...

I apologize if I gave you any reason to think so shuffle.gif
These two types, it seems to me, differ quite well in the structure of the whiskers - even in this photo, the ratio of the 2nd and 3rd antenna numbers is clearly visible. And with such legs, tomentosis also happens, as far as I remember.

Tell me, please, whether we correctly identified the beetles:
Gnorimus variabilis and Pachyta quadrimaculata (Transcarpathia, 05-15/07/2010)

more precisely Protaetia (Liocola) marmorata ssp. marmorata (Fabricius, 1792) smile.gif

30.07.2010 19:41, rpanin

... also: Leptura quadrifasciata, Corymbia rubra, I don't know the third one.... shuffle.gif

3 Stictoleptura tesserula (Charpentier, 1825)

30.07.2010 19:46, Avalanche

Alexey, we caught them in Transcarpathia. How do these bronzes differ from each other ? Why did you define it as marmorata ?

30.07.2010 19:48, Алексей Сажнев

Well, with the subspecies then I don't know... and marmorata is a valid name for lugubris, which is reduced to synonyms

30.07.2010 19:49, Avalanche

Well, that's how simple it was. ))) Thank you for explaining it to the ignoramus. )))))

marmorata and lugubris are synonyms. Call it what you want wink.gif

Maybe someone caught and knows reliable signs? I'll sign it as a preliminary definition for now.

Hello there... I live in the city. I don't have time to leave. It's not like in Pyatigorsk - you go out into the yard, and there's a riot of life on you; - but something still comes across. Help with the names, please!

To Yakovlev:
1st mattress - 5 Carabus kruberi
2nd and 3rd-C. regalis (except the topmost ones). The rest of the photos would be lighter...

To Yakovlev: we can assume that the "dorcadions"are Eodorcadion dorcas (B. Jak.)- DSC_5470.JPG
if the point is close to this Govi-Altai aimak, Zavkhan riv (Zhargalan somon), then exactly it is.

The topmost (on 2 and 3 mattresses) C. arvensis, there is still schoencheri lying around, apparently the one that you showed me in the stain.

03.08.2010 19:55, александр барышев

And in the fifth photo, the top 8 beetles are probably Carabus (Diocarabus) loschnikovi, I also caught them as a joke.

Dear friends! I came across one interesting opchupnik (Almaty). Immediately draws attention to the deeply depressed crown, bordered by outgrowths-horns on the sides. The depressions are deep, paired, cup-shaped, with a forehead process between them. On the green tried to drive away-hopeless. I didn't find much like it on the Web. Maybe some Bythinus is tricky? wall.gif
I enclose the photo.
