Can you please tell me if it is possible to define this Cantharis to a species? The photo was taken in early June in the Rtishchevsky district of the Saratov region.

C. livida black-winged
what is this bug? Sverdlovsk region, today
https://yadi.sk/i/RKs0tHoCcquLbA

Byctiscus betulae
Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, June.
Is this Phyllopertha chorticola small, 7 mm, or another who?

Omaloplia is almost certainly nigromarginata (which is the former ruricola)

At first I thought that it was not a big Metallica, then I got another copy of the same size (Smaller than metallica) I noticed that the abdomen is different, it does not look like Metallica at all. This one is blue. (In the photo, it didn't work out like in real life. in real life, it is much bluer) https://yapx.ru/u/EeFDR

We sent photos of beetles from the production, found them in the shop where they sift flour. The photo is lousy, but what is there. I can't figure out who it is - it doesn't look like Khrushchak, it would be alive - but it's not there. Does anyone know what kind of animal it is?

8. Hydrobius fuscipes.

It seems that Hydrobius fuscipes can be up to 9 mm, but this one was small, no more than 5 mm.

No, there are no such big ones. Maximum of 7 millimeters. In general, it is now considered a complex of species.
But with the number 5, I really got it wrong. This is Graphoderus sp.

Cleoninus went through them all first. I found something similar, but it's not the same. I'll try to go through the cleonines again.
The photo is old, I've already put it up before. I can't really retake it yet. Ilya, thank you for your answer.

Have you looked at Chromonotus?

Chromonotus watched, of course. And the first contender was C. pilosellus from Zina. But that one is hairy, and mine (2 copies) are completely naked. Maybe they're just worn out. For now, I'll focus on Chromonotus, before the genus. Thank you, Ilya, the question is removed.

So what if you look at the keys? I would agree with the first one, a fairly typical female vacca with greenness. But in the second one, the spotting of the elytra immediately catches the eye, in nuchicornis it is usually more "dispersed" or something, but here it forms such rows strictly on the aisles. This is quite typical for vacca/medius, but I don't remember this for nuchicornis. Yes, and the sculpture is also more likely vacca / medius. A big bug?

The size of beetles is 8-9 mm. From one flatbread. Maybe a couple? Are there vacca without greenery? The photos are only so bad, it's unlikely that the keys will work.
According to " Fauna Europaea "(which I rely on) Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) vacca (Linnaeus, 1767), Synonym =Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) medius.
Is medius a stand-alone view?

It seems to be independent, but how much...) So take a look - maybe both medius.
