Torez, Donetsk region, today
beetles were found in the Sahara and near cereals. Is it a pest or just flying from the street to the light? Size 2mm

Anthrenus fuscus. Sugar is not eaten, but cereals can spoil. But even then it rarely happens.

How did I get it so wrong! Not A. fuscus, of course, in any way. A. coloratus-it may well be, but anthrenus can be determined from such a photo-please, you need to count the number of segments of the antennae and look at other morphology. I hope that astronom will have enough information that this beetle will not get into sugar or cereals that are not infected with other pests - it is attracted to substrates of animal origin. Keep an eye out for wool products, stuffed animals and sedentary old cats - they can be eaten.

Thanks for the definition. It looks like my currants kirdyk comes, dry with verzushka-her hands/larvae business. Yes, sinuatus, somewhere it is called pear, somewhere plum..

This is yes, anthrenov from the photo to determine-shamanism is pure, except for a couple of b. m. recognizable species, and even within the middle zone.

Tell me a couple more, both from near Tula.
1. An old deposit, sitting on the very top of some cereal. June 12.

2. This frachnik was discovered on the Chernobyl site (common wormwood) and attracted by its size-it seemed somehow small to me. The size was 9.5 mm. June 1st.

1-Harpalus, as a working hypothesis I would assume H. smaragdinus
2-Lixus fasciculatus, ate poorly

9.5 mm is quite normal for a male Lixus fasciculatus. I've seen smaller ones.

Greetings.
Please help me identify the insect.
June 27, Neryungri, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
Found in a greenhouse, eating quinoa. In addition to quinoa, horseradish root and a few weeds of different types grow in the greenhouse.
Insect sizes range from 2mm to 20mm. In total, about 100 pieces were found.
Last year there were none.

Hello. Maybe someone can find photos of the species Lixus tibialis Boheman, 1843 and Microplontus mirabilis (Korotyaev, 1980). It is necessary for the Red Book website. I searched the Internet, but I didn't find anything more or less suitable.
