Help us identify the Kuril mottled birds.

1. Artona gracilis (Walker, 1865)
2. Illiberis sp., by pure assumption Illiberis (Zama) cybele (Leech, 1889). But it seems that most of them are reliably determined only by the genitals.

Sakhalin moths.
The first is probably Abraxas karafutonis Matsumura, 1925?
I can't identify the second one.

There's no mistaking it.

There's no mistaking it.
In my opinion, in our region, only the genera Alcis and Pseuderannis can have such a form of bandages on the front wing. It seems to me that this is Alcis, but you need to think about the view:
http://www.jpmoth.org/Geometridae/Ennomina...angulifera.html
http://www.jpmoth.org/Geometridae/Ennomina...cis_picata.html

Thank you so much. Is this for you Abraxas karafutonis Matsumura, 1925? an obvious one, but a new one for me.By the way, reflecting the history: karafutonis-Karafuto (Japanese: кара karafuto te:, Karafuto Prefecture) - the southern part of Sakhalin Island, which was part of the Empire of Japan from 1905 to 1945.

Alcis angulifera is unlikely, distributed only from Honshu and further south. But Alcis picata is worth thinking about, especially in the Kuril Islands.

Sakhalin, my assumptions:Cabera pusaria and Alcis deversata. I may be wrong.

Sakhalin, my assumptions:Cabera pusaria and Alcis deversata. I may be wrong.

White brew (although offhand more like Myrteta unio, not Cabera).
A. deversata, like, for Sakhalin is not given, so rather A. picata.

PS
Now it's kind of like Taeneophila unio, not Myrteta.

A. deversata is just right for Sakhalin. but A. picata is recorded only for Kunashir and Shikotan, Japan. They have different spots, the first one has a round dark spot, the second one has a kind of trident.

Ah, that's all right, then. I can show you our Amur deverzats for comparison.

There is something similar, Myrteta unio. Thank you.

A very strange butterfly. Not on one of these types does not pull. It is very similar, according to the pictures in the Net and on the Slam, to these types, but the outer sling is very far from the outer edge. Specific features are divided between these types. maybe cho was imported from the tropics? smile.gif
