Thanks again for your help, but there are nuances. The following species are not listed in the Catalog edited by Sinev (2008):
6. Euxoa enixa (Püngeler, 1906)
8. Rhyacia ignobilis (Staudinger, 1888) = Agrotis ignobilis
10. Charissa difficilis (Alphéraky, 1883)
11. Cacoecia strigana (Hubner, 1869) is also missing, but has already been found (not without your help hints based on the Russian name)). This is now Clepsis pallidana (Fabricius, 1776)

And what are the works of Kozhanchikov and Filipyev at the beginning of the 20th century, in which regions?

All works on the Minusinsk (at that time) province. Now it is the South.Krasnoyarsk Territory.According to the Catalog, ed.Sineva is region 22 (South of Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia). If it is about these authors, then the works from 1923 to 1928 inclusive. In order not to flood here, I can write in more detail in the personal account.

Well, I won't refuse, write to me. This region, and the whole of Siberia and the Arctic in general, is very interesting, my region is 20.

What subspecies of swallowtail lives in Turkey (Kemer)?

27.02.2019 18:37, aleko

Well, Nycteola kuldzhana, for the Ryazan region is not exactly given, and it should not be there, there are no biotopes. It is advisable to make links to the photos that you post, so that their authorship is not attributed to you. smile.gif
http://www.lepiforum.de/lepiwiki.pl?Nycteola_Kuldzhana
The wing shape is one of the diagnostic features of a number of species of the genus Nycteola.
smile.gif

Yes, my copy has a stroke - I noted this before the entire discussion, but I didn't attach much importance to it. Of all my Ryazan specimens, the ones I identified as Nycteola svecicus also have such a stroke - at least, the non-flown specimens have exactly the same pattern as here: http://www.lepiforum.de/lepiwiki.pl?Nycteola_Svecicus
Although there is no such species in the list of nolids of the Ryazan region, this is not at all a reason to believe that we do not have them.

Well, svecicus may well be there, although N E gives a fairly small range, but despite this, it is quite widely distributed in Ukraine(by the way, all the specimens are found in Ukraine). on lepiforum from my collection and kuldzhana too).
Kuldzhana means sands and steppes. In Ukraine, it is very rare, after 30-x 2005, it was found in the Luhansk region and last year 4ex. in the sands of Hersoschin

Hello! Here are a number of old, probably invalid" names " from the works of Kozhanchikov and Filipyev of the early 20th century, which I have not yet been able to convert into normal and modern ones:

Anchausta exprimata (Stgr)

Anchausta exprimata (Stgr) = Dasypolia exprimata (Staudinger, 1896), however, it does not seem to be given for Russia either.

The first time it was drawn in 1975, when I was still a little boy, my mother bought this set of postcards "Butterflies" - issue 2. smile.gif

14. Green Kyrgyz shovel (Isochlora maxima Stgr.)
The wingspan is 4.6-4.8 cm. This beautiful species belongs to the moth-toothed butterflies of the scoop family. Like other species of this genus, it is widespread in Central and Central Asia, in Kyrgyzstan and in neighboring countries. The butterfly flies high in the mountains, its biology is still almost unknown.

With the lower ones, I hurried, it's worth looking at what you have flying from the genus Eucosma, I'll think it's them.

Eucosma looked through the whole thing even earlier, but didn't stop at anything. Interesting gender.
