That night some rather strange fitzitina flew to Pestovo. At first glance, it makes you think about Ephestia, but a very strong bend of the band and a poorly defined black spot (which is almost single) opposite the bend resemble Euzophera cinerosella, but this is not it. MB Cadra furcatella?

And what did she eat?

Moths are quite simple, easy to determine.

Then all the more I will wait and hope for the help of my colleagues.
However, I tried it myself, but I am far from sure that it is correct.
1 - Idaea biselata?
2-Opisthograptis luteolata-I'm sure.
3 - Ematurga atomaria?
4-Jodis lactearia-sure.
5 - Boarmia civctaria? "absolutely NOT sure.
6-Angerona prunaria-sure.
7-Ligdia adustata-I'm sure.
8-Cyclophora punctaria-almost certain-highly variable, probably.
9 - Gymnoscelis rufifasciata? "I'm not sure."
11-Cabera pusaria-almost certain
12-Idaea dimidiata-probably...

1 - Zeiraphera griseana
2, 3 - Ypsolopha chazariella

why can't this species be Ypsolopha horridella (TREITSCHKE, 1835)?
In the 2019 catalog of lepidoptera, by the way, this species is omitted for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, although it was noted by us in 2018 for the first time in Siberia and the data of that article should have been included in the catalog, but alas.

Mikhail, let me try to cook it.

Ilya beat me to the question smile.gif. With the "mass" I went a little too far, but still there were a lot of them. American maple has really taken over everything in the city and climbed out into the suburbs. I have never seen a Tatar maple tree in urban plantings. Interestingly, no one eats American maple (I periodically inspect it).

On May 20, I found a small caterpillar on a wild apple tree in the yard. I put it in a jar, ate the leaves of an apple tree and soon pupated right on the twig. Unfortunately, there was no time to take a picture. Pupated in a white triangular cocoon in cross-section. The exit of the butterfly missed the same thing. Here's what's left, I tried to straighten it out and take a picture.

Cocoon. Pupated around May 23-25
[attachmentid ()=324202]

Imago. Output is approximately mid-June
[attachmentid ()=324203]

P.S. And the growth of the Leafy leafwort was really massive, although there were no coniferous trees nearby

Mikhail, did you mean the ash-leaved maple ( Acer negundo)? Yes, I also noticed that there are practically no phytophages on it. For example, in China, this particular species "beats" mercilessly Anoplophora glabripennis smile.gif

It's a good idea to look at the genitals! I now also think it's Y. horridella.

Hello. Again I fight with the following. Filmed in the same place in the mountains outside Sochi from mid-July to early September. Thank you very much in advance, my dear comrades!
Is this really Catephia alchymista #9? - Why doesn't it have a light border , and the zigzag pattern doesn't match up like on the Internet?
And #8-Caradrina clavipalpis? "what I don't like about her." There are no dark spots on the outer edge, and the bean-shaped spot is completely different in shape...
Is No. 10 really Athetis lepigone? "A tea scoop? The Internet is terrible. There were a lot of mine. We flew every day. The wingspan is about 3 centimeters, or even less. It looks very small.
