Good evening, dear experts! Please help me identify the animals you found smile.gif
The first one is small, about a centimeter. I suspect some kind of ladybug?
The second one has 4 shiny dots, as if silvered. It was hanging on a sheet of wormwood (or hemlock, I don't remember exactly). МО

the first is definitely a ladybug, and the second is a nymphalid, possibly Nymphalis sp.

North of the Arkhangelsk region. June 17.
I wanted to put a caterpillar on the definition, but here's how it turned out... During the night, while the camera was charging, it managed to pupate. Of the special signs of the caterpillar, I remember only one: "black and shaggy"...
Who should I expect?

Most likely Nymphalis vaualbum.
Only her Nymphalis pupa has this color.

Definitely not. Now I've been digging in the container that had the caterpillar in it. Only a small part of the skin remained. Hmm... It turns out to be a cross-section stripe... Body and head fragment:

Actually, there aren't many options with this pupa. There is another one:
http://macroid.ru/showphoto.php?photo=2168
although I would not call it black and shaggy.
The pupa is clearly nymphalid, with either a Peacock's eye or a Wren.
Unless, of course, there's something I don't know about Severodvinsk.

Yes, I understand that nymphalida and that there are not many options... Maybe urticaria of course. I will wait for hatching (if true, as usual, some rider, or midges do not come out...)

Then I found this egg. And I thought that swallowtail.
But according to the photos, the young caterpillar should be black, so I'm thinking about it.

This thing has nothing to do with the swallowtail, or, in general, with butterflies.
This is a sawfly larva, probably Pristiphora geniculata.

Judging by the golden sheen most likely urticaria but I have only one out of 10 bred the rest were gobbled up
