I am looking for information on the species Gronops sulcatus Boheman, 1842
. Here:
http://travaux.ro/pdf/398-41-325-330%20Proches%20S.pdf
it is listed for Romania and therefore should be in the Faunaeuropea catalog, but it is not there. Probably the view is not valid?

I present a large update of keys for short-tailed weevils (subfamily Entiminae)

http://coleop123.narod.ru/key/entiminae/teza_entim_1.html

The identifier has been expanded to include the fauna of Russia (!!!). Fixed a huge number of beetles and beetles in the previous version (thanks to everyone who helped discover them). However, due to the huge amount of work, a significant part of the pages have not yet been completed. Also, the 3 largest genera - Phyllobius, Otiorhynchus and Sitona-have not yet been updated.

I am looking for any indications of finding the following species of the genus Lixus in Russia.

Lixus nordmanni Hochhuth, 1847
Lixus excelsus Faust, 1891
Lixus obesus Petri 1904
Lixus farinifer Reitter, 1892
Lixus speciosus Miller, 1861
Lixus salicorniae Faust, 1888
Lixus heydeni Faust, 1891

All these types are listed for the "Caucasus", without more precise information.

And I will offer my own version: Why waste time on trifles? Let's go all over the Palearctic!
Although this is at odds with the majority opinion, it is impractical to do more than the Hebrew part of Russia - the work is large, the tables are cumbersome, and there is no point...

I also suggested that Ilya try to cover the entire Palearctic, but this is a very difficult task teapot.gif, because you need to rework a huge amount of literature in order to collect everything in a single table wall.gif. In addition, you need photos of representatives of certain genera, and preferably species. They are not even in the web weep.gif, for this you need to involve a lot of people who somehow have fees for weevils. I personally am also interested in the successful work of Ilya and his website beer.gif. So I think Ilya is doing the right thing, he started with his own region, now Mother Russia, then you can pull up the former republics, and then how it goes... For my part, I have offered and continue to offer my assistance in providing photos of representatives of certain genera.
With best
