Reaper and I would also like to buy it. For example, I need No. 1 500, No. 3 200 and nulevok 300. Maybe someone from friendly countries trades at a reasonable price in the region of $ 3 (Czech). Not by different postal orders. And so in Moscow someone or in St. Petersburg.

20.11.2009 18:09, Konung

Isn't it easier to order from the Czech Republic in Moldova?

20.11.2009 18:14, Victor Titov

Something tells me that from Moscow to entomon(e) will not be more expensive.

20.11.2009 18:50, RippeR

ordering from the Czech Republic is a real problem. It is necessary either through a bank, but there is no account, and as far as I understand from all the data - this is expensive, at least 10 euros per transfer..
Either via Western Union, but this, again, is expensive.. Western Union - shit, they charge too much and there are a lot of troubles with transfers - a lot of things to fill out, and so on.
As a result, it will be too expensive, since you also need to take shipping into account.

I can introduce you to some good people in the Czech Republic, and they'll send you a message without any problems. Taking into account the transfer from their side and sending them money, the pack will fit into 3.2 raccoons. I bought it myself several times, not just pins, checked. I received emails to my email address. But for some reason they don't show up on the forum. I will be able to purchase pins in January.

I used these pins: Karlsbader insektennadeln Original. Good in quality. Can you buy something comparable right now? And how much will it cost?

21.12.2009 14:00, Трофим

When I was still at school, I used to make pins out of steel wires (in boring lessons, which were most of them), such as is available in Christmas toys. I turned out and filled the balls with epoxy, about 400 pieces came out. What to say, the time was smile.gif

I ordered pins through an online store, 3 years ago. №№ 1, 3, 00, 000.
Delivered without any problems, by cash on delivery, within a month. 4 packs of 100 pcs, together with the shipment, then cost me 350 rubles. I am satisfied with the quality. "nulevok" then was not, but I still have the old stocks of the 60s production "Zookombinat"

The quality of "Czech" entomobulavki has sharply deteriorated-bend! Perhaps the Chinese began to work on it? Is Morpho still alive?"? Or is it the same thing as the Sphinx now??

And what is the price of pins in Kiev and where are they sold there?

I have experience with homemade pins. If you have free time, do it yourself. I do this at work, in the evening. I use rust removal brushes, these are the ones with a wooden handle. I still have a stock of Soviet (now there are Chinese metal they have soft). If desired, you can find wire on brushes of any diameter. The wire on them is already cut to a standard length, steel. It remains only to disassemble, sharpen. The head is epoxy resin with the addition of bronze powder. The quality is almost like a SPHINX. You can wax it and paint it, but it's not necessary. With 5 brushes(different wire thicknesses) I secured myself with pins for several years.

do not do this - buy pins - they are inexpensive. Shoe brushes for shoemakers - pins for entomologists.

The brushes are not shoe brushes. You can extend the associative series: medicine for physicians; entomology for entomologists, etc. tongue.gif

If we do everything ourselves with our own hands: nets, stains, screens, generators, etc. Why can't pins be made? It's not from a good life. Stupidly sorry for the money.

They look good. And do not rust (for brushes, etc. consumables, the most crappy steel usually goes)?

There are no shops, a private cab. I always take it to the Institute of Zoology, where two people sell at least. The last time I took Morpho for 25 UAH, now there are 30. 1 euro = almost 11 UAH. I.e. a pack now costs from 2.5 to almost 3 euros. Entosfinks - 2 euros.

If the environment is wet of course rust like any other. Wax can be insured or machine oil. But since I protect the boxes from moisture, more than my wife's honor, there are no problems. The heads on the pins hadn't failed yet, either. And as for iron, in our country for all sorts of crap, such as brushes, a good steel wire goes.

Mmmm... The quality to the factory is still not enough (some pins in the photo are crooked). If it's not a secret, how long does it take to make one pin (cutting wire, sharpening (on an emery wheel?), surfacing a glovka)?
