Beauty.

Is that what you call entomology?

27.09.2010 17:43, andros

And why not?Of course, there are plenty of crustaceans there and the prices bite, but what a searchable spread, and sorting and what an educational and cognitive context!!!

Mmmdaaa... Prices of butterflies-horror!!! Not all of them. Sell a dozen expensive ones-and you have an apartment, or... Mmmdaaa. Here is such a temptation to engage in bourgeois entomology, prick money without interruption, go wherever you want, catch secretly rare butterflies ... Mda.

01.10.2010 11:50, Pavel Udovichenko

Absolutely agree! Yes, but I have been seeing the same butterflies for many years with these prices (it is even interesting to compare them with the photos from the last Paris that I posted). They don't buy much of anything. They change it sometimes, yes. Yes, to be honest, I would also not have raised my hand to buy my own material for such money. But, all people are different. There is an offer, probably there is a buyer. Therefore, the prices are probably such that the expedition is expensive, and you need to pay back/earn money, and they were chasing a dozen butterflies. Well, we divided the costs by the quantity - that's the price. Who knows what it was like...

Beauty!

05.10.2010 9:19, Serg Svetlov

Yes, the prices are impressive!I just don't understand what they consist of.Small undefined Pteropliini (some pterolophia) for 3 euros.Well, let the straightened ones be 1 euro.2 euros for a beetle from Asia, which is brought in hundreds, I don't understand. And at the same time, beetles like Rosalia batesi cost from 4 to 10 euros.I think Entoterra is right!!!Most of the material with such unclear pricing is sold for years, or even decades, until the price becomes reasonable.Although Europeans live with different incomes and thoughts about the future.Maybe it's different for them.

Yes, the "mixes" from French Guiana were impressive.A lot of small things for all groups!!!
