Hi, I have to beetles not devoured I put a collar there from fleas, Celandine, with 1% permitrin.
In general, the collar was removed, but the sharp smell persists, what to do with it? is it harmless? how long will it stink?

The longer it stinks , the longer the new bastards won't start up. They shouldn't have removed it at all.

But does the collar destroy leatherworms??? I may be wrong, but I don't think it kills fleas, just scares them away. I have 2 options: the first is to hermetically seal the box with beetles so that the stench does not spread, and the second is to make a sting for each beetle (as here in the video). http://vk.com/video30776750_161506167 ) and put it outside, so that the smell comes out, and then you can also spray it with a smelly deodorant.

Permethrin is almost odorless. If you put diazinone instead of permethrin (Celandine can do this), then it will stink for a long time and it is very dangerous. Banned worldwide. The collar with diazinone was previously produced by Beafar.

and in the wiki it is written that diazinone is also with a weak smell and a half life of 2-6 weeks

how do I know if it's harmful or not?

Diazinone belongs to organophosphorus poisons and has cumulative properties. It has a musty smell. very effective against insects. Unfortunately, the harmfulness negates its effectiveness. It's up to you to choose now. I would advise you to throw it out and forget it. If it says peremetrin, but it stinks, this should not be the case.

+100500 I would still add that pyrethroids, which include permethrin, are also dangerous to health, although less so than FOS. By the way, is diazinone banned all over the world? This is one of the most used d/v ...

who should I throw out? insects or something? they are new, in the package. just next to them lay a collar in the box for microwaves
the smell is not musty, but like fresh radish

Throw out the collar and don't worry. The effective concentration in permethrin solution is 0.5%. In the collar, it should be at least 15-25 %, since it is slowly released. Even the diazinone in the collar is 15% Beafar. So that the collar with 1% permethrin can smell a maximum of polyvinyl chloride or what it is made of.
