Citizens who use it, can you tell me what sizes of devices (the price significantly depends on the size) and with or without a crane (this also affects the price) are the most popular/universal or simply needed in the ent field?

Any vessel that is hermetically sealed. At the bottom of which is wet, calcined sand (classic) or cotton wool (as I use smile.gifthe main thing is that the insect does not get moldy. I don't know if it will be possible to trade like this, since almost everything is suitable for this purpose, starting with an ordinary soup plate wink.gif

Vasily, in that topic you can't see anything about parameters. Well, samopal vs industrial version, this will always remain. There are lovers of one, and there are-the other.

There, gryat, through the tap you can pump air out, and so on right up to the vacuum (or to the discharged state). For entomological purposes, nafig is not necessary, right? Or is it necessary?

yes.gif Correctly understand smile.gifthe main thing is that the insect becomes soft and it can be straightened.

OK, thank you.

I've tried a lot of things, but now I've settled on food containers.
beetles-container+a piece of foam + a drop of "fairy"+water
butterflies-container+sand+a drop of vinegar+water
if the insect is there for a week fall, then in a vacuum and in vinegar mold will appear, pm "from the evil one" all these refinements

Models of different volumes are available. Who uses it-I will give it for a review with a noticeable discount. Write to BOS.

There are options for 150, 180 and 210 mm. A vessel with a working diameter of 210 mm weighs more than 4 kg:--)

Well, someone will take the thread to the test and write expanded than...

I, personally, will not even take this "magic pot"for a test with a discount eek.gif
Yes, and it is unlikely that ko will take
There are always affordable and worthy substitutes: food containers, etc. Any vessel in which you can create a "wet chamber": this is what you need for soaking. I also explained at the very beginning of the topic....... This is not the right product to contact smile.gif

No problems.

And it is unlikely that ko will take it

As it turned out, the assumption is incorrect.

There are always affordable and decent substitutes

In the USSR, the topic of substitutes was especially popular. Rumor has it, not from the good life, really.

This is not a product worth contacting smile.gif
With T. Z. bablosov anthony — in general not that commodity with which it costs. There are much more profitable and at the same time less shameful niches. But we're like all D'Artagnans with enthusiasts here, yeah.

And you think about the essence of this vessel wink.gif
Why spend money on something that is always available in any kitchen?
How is this desiccator better in practice than the same food container, which, by the way, is much lighter and costs a penny compared to this desiccator? The bicycle was invented a long time ago, and not only that smile.gif
At its core, this is the same pot. Only it says "For Entomology" (this is figurative). The essence of this does not change: the pot as it was a pot, so it will remain a pot regardless of what is written on it. smile.gif

monstoidal stray = "echo of war" lol.gifand this is still without a cover! but as an element of the interior, for heightening the interest of the opposite sex, it is very suitable shuffle.gif
[attachmentid()=200267]
from practice: navazelina's cover slides when slightly heated (on the battery) - the material does not get wet. keep for a long time= "in the cold" - it becomes moldy, and the butterflies get wet. if the standard cover is replaced with glass, pressed down with a load, and the edge is laid with a layer of plasticine, then with some skill you can get the necessary result, but nah it is needed with such perversionsconfused.gif, maybe I haven't understood anything in 20 years and someone is fine confused.gif

with a diameter of 18 cm and a height of 14 cm (without a lid!) the working area is 10 cm in diameter. for comparison-the container in the photo (above) 14*12*4 and all 14*12 are working

This is at the "sunset", and before that there was an era of "gigantomania" and unhealthy maximalism wink.gif
