Length of ento pins plus whether they have balls/heads

Community and ForumEntomological collectionsLength of ento pins plus whether they have balls/heads

38 mm is kind of like a standard. And Shiga has 41 mm plus 40 for pins without balls. Question: Why? Is this just some old standard (as the British have their own problems) or is 41 mm relevant for some specific cases / animals?
And about pins without balls/heads. Do you use it? Any sense / convenience?

38 or 41-I personally do not care, but a small head like Shiga's is very convenient because it does not cover the breasts of small butterflies in the photos. If shiga appears at a reasonable price , I will periodically buy smile.gif

do they send out orders???? and you can just pay with visa, as I understand it...

They send it. Even if you don't have to pay directly by card, you can pay via Yandex.Stick for sure.

Such pies, Zhenya.
I was in a hurry. Berk, who actually received 4 bags of pins for me in Moscow, arrived in Chisinau without them. He just forgot them. And now I don't have a SINGLE pin. But in early June, another berk will arrive from Moscow, already another one. They're brothers. He swore he would. I'll let you know right away.
