Sopsno-subject.

In the fall, Indonesia will be back, I want to reduce the number of holes from leeches, etc.biting.

Who uses what?

Leech socks are great. but, damn, it's not enough, because when you crawl through the bushes on all fours, this stuff clings to the neck and back, among other things...

It is not an option to pack in encephalitis on the equator, it will be boiled meat.

Drenching yourself in chemistry, too, for obvious reasons.

Check out the version of the anti-mosquito suit "bodyguard".

I don't have one. A friend bought it for himself, showed it to me. In my opinion, the item is interesting and should be suitable for your tasks.

I tried it, the last time was in the spring in Peru.
I can say that, compared to the mosquito bought for some pennies in Tae, it is not particularly better.

The inner part is generally not needed in figs, it interferes more. The idea is clear, and, apparently, in our "vile belt" it is not bad, but in the tropics - complete crap.
External anti-midge somehow works, but against ticks-not very.
And wildly clings to the thorns with the grid, sometimes in the thickets I really stupidly could not move, but this, generally speaking, is more of a feature of any grids than a bug of this particular thing...

IMHO: such a mesh, only as dense as possible, plus high leech socks-about what you need...

So for almost two months and passed. True, there were not many leeches this time. I used to wear Zhukova's anti-tick suit - perfect clothes for the tropics. But he, alas, broke down, and they don't let him out anymore.

Shoe covers are small, so they fell off - what to do, I bought the largest ones on the market.

Zhukova's anti-tick suit is the perfect clothing for the tropics.

Is this what is sold under the name "Biostop"?
I watched them and was impressed, but not in the right way.
It is heavy - under one and a half kilos weighs, armored, apparently... Solid cotton, and as thick as a spacesuit.

Those. I believe that neither a horsefly, nor a tick, nor a bullet will take it up to 12.7 inclusive, but I don't really understand how to exist in the tropics in this case.

I don't know what a Biostop is.

Zhukova's costume consists of two parts: an inner one, made of mesh with large holes, and an outer one, made of fine mesh with cuffs on the sleeves. Large holes in the mesh provide ventilation, and the thickness of the mesh prevents blood-sucking insects from reaching the skin by sticking their proboscis through the upper mesh. The construction is strong, lightweight, thoroughly drained and provides good protection from bloodsuckers.

Unfortunately, I've never seen anything else like this on sale, which is strange, because the design is nothing complicated.

PS. The original package also included a cap made of mesh, but it was not included in my kit, because I bought a suit with my hands.

Similar costumes with balaclavas are available for sale for 3-4 t. p., type in Yandex "anti-mosquito suit made of mesh in two layers". But you need to understand the quality of each particular product.
