Which camera was used to capture this photo?

The photo was taken through binoculars according to the method described on the page of Kirill Makarov
http://www.zin.ru/Animalia/Coleoptera/rus/makarovf.htm There are also many excellent illustrations of beetles made with it. http://www.zin.ru/Animalia/Coleoptera/rus/makar063.htm
The camera is the same as there, Canon Power Shot S50, I made some changes to the technique, and in addition, objects less than 10 mm through MBS are obtained in low quality.

So it was taken with a different microscope? And what are the improvements to the methodology?

In the topic of Insect Images via MBS, the first 2 photos were taken: betilida and spherocerida flies. After that, I purchased a binocular, as I reported in the topic Equipment-Stereo Microscope http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=91847
All subsequent photos were taken in MS.
The main difference from the described method is the gluing of layers not manually, but in the program Helicon Focus, now widely known in narrow circles wink.gifas an excellent replacement for the wildly expensive Automontage. Something tells me that Cyril has already switched to it.
The rest of the add-ons are all sorts of small features that were developed during
the shooting process.
