it has a long, thin proboscis (like a needle), it does not sit on a flower when eating nectar (it flaps its wings all the time), it hums softly and flies quickly

I love insects, but I would still say that this is a hummingbird (bird)... Although we must admit that there are butterflies that behave like this...

No, it's Macroglossum stellatarum L., no doubt. I can, of course, be mistaken with the species, but the fact that this is a proboscis (or tongue) from the hawk moth family is accurate.
