No, for Iran, Polyphylla alba is not listed, and in the photo, judging by its appearance-Polyphylla adspersa.

Well, it's clearly not from Melolonthinae, but from Rutelinae, something resembling Anisoplia sp...

I decided to throw just an exceptional Asian crunch with its color:
Cyphochilus ?insulanus Moser, 1918? (it seems to be endemic to Taiwan, but it's a long way from Malaysia) confused.gif
Or maybe Cyphochilus ?peninsularis Arrow, 1938? (the range is wide, but there is a lack of information).
