Lethrus appendiculatus (=coptotis) B. Jakovlev, 1891
Tajikistan, khr. Vakhsh, 10. IV. 2001
I am not quite sure about this beetle. According to Nikolaevu, it turns out that this is L.vachshianus Nikolajev&Shukronajev, 1989, because the keel on the inner side of the male mandible appendage breaks off near the middle. Although, if you count L.vachshianus is an intraspecific form of L. appendiculatus - this is not important. I leave the label with which the beetle came.

Lethrus arnoldii, Nikolajev, 1987
19. III. 2001, Uzbekistan, Zap. Hissar region, Guldara, h=900m, leg. Legesin O.

The beetle is very similar to the above L. geminatus. It is believed that it may simply be a form of this species. At the same time, the beetles differ markedly in the shape of the processes of the male mandibles.

Lethrus karelini Gebler, 1845
It is interesting that absolutely all beetles carry the same type of plant (I still did not understand what - most similar to wormwood).
