I wonder how richly represented this small family is on the territory of the former Soviet Union? For priming, I lay out our usual types:
Drepana curvatula curvatula (Borkhausen, 1790)
Western Siberia, Omsk region, Muromtsevsky district

Drepana falcataria (Linnaeus, 1758)

to konung: What a strange curvatula (the one in nature), in my opinion, is more similar to falcataria.

Probably one of the rarest of our drepanids. Male Auzata superba(Butler, 1878). Khabarovsk Territory, upper Bureya River, July 2005 The wingspan of this specimen when unfolded is 36 mm. Very interesting, has anyone else caught this species on the mainland of the Far East? Do you have any materials? There is almost no information about this species from the Amur and Primorye regions in the literature. In collections, this species also seems to be very rare.Only a photo of a female from Kunashir hangs on the web (http://szmn.sbras.ru/old/picts/Heterocera/Auzata_superba.htm)…

Caught this summer In Primorye. I haven't straightened it out yet, but if this is the case, then in a week I'll put a photo straightened out with the place and date indicated.
I looked at the fees - it turned out to be only one, but it seemed that there were many, but on the first trip, the main emphasis was on what was bigger smile.gif

While Auzata superba is drying, I post a photo of another sicklefly from Primorye - Pseudalbara parvula (Leech, 1890), if the generic name is not accurate, please correct it. The sickle-wing is clearly not rare, they flew to Vityaz every night.

Yeah, some kind of moth that vaguely resembles Problepsis. I wish it was Auzata superba. According to my data, Auzata superba is known from the territory of Russia from only four specimens (including mine).

I will add one more representative, whose range is in the south of the former USSR, and the species is known from the Caucasus and there is 1 find in the Crimea; it is highly desirable to clarify the exact distribution here. Then there are the Balkans, Turkey, and Syria. The main difference from the close glaucata is a whiter background of the forewing and the presence of only 4 (no more) grey marginal spots on the forewing.
CILIX asiatica A. Bang-Haas, 1907.
These butterfly photos are from Greece and Bulgaria, respectively. Does someone have a view in the collection?

And this one is the recently described (less than 10 years ago) Cilix hispanica. We can't have it, the distribution is Spain, southern France, Sardinia... It is very interesting that such a characteristic species was hidden for so long under the" light generation " of glaucata.
