What kind of motley?
Crimea, June 16, 2008.

It was once defined as Trichodes apiarius, but it is not listed for the Crimea. Trichodes punctatus and Trichodes favarius are given for the Crimea.

In my opinion, Trichodes apiarius is. Why shouldn't it be? Where there are bees, it is always there.
On Trichodes punctatus and Trichodes favarius, it does not outwardly pull in any way.
