There is very little information on this little-known moth family on the web. In the fauna of Russia, there is 1 species known from the Volga-Don, Lower Volga, and East Caucasus regions (according to the catalog of lepidoptera of the Russian Federation). I didn't find any images of this type at all. I was able to collect this species at two locations in the south of the Omsk region (the first find of the species in the Asian part of the Russian Federation). Biotope-steppe. Years in August. I put here the first image of this type on the Internet ))
Galactica walsinghami (Caradja, 1920)
= Zarcinia melanozestas MEYRICK, 1935
Thanks to D. Shovkun and V. V. Zolotukhin for their help in determining the problem.
