I'm going to Kyrgyzstan in the summer of 2006. Route: Bishkek-Dolon Pass-Chetyr-Kel Lake; Bishkek-Barskaun Gorge; Bishkek-Suusamyr-Osh and Jalal-Abad neighborhoods. Are there any people who would like to join the company?

04.03.2006 18:23, AGG

how do I solve registration questions and how much does it cost?

27.03.2006 15:35, Nilson

In St. Petersburg, I will meet an amateur entomologist (beetles, butterflies, etc.) - so, to communicate, change.
Write to the soap nilbelonogov@gmail.com

28.03.2006 22:22, RippeR

Diogen:
Yes, how much does everything cost? I just want to go on a similar trip, but it didn't work out.. And also with entomologists who know what to catch, where to catch.

Nilson:
I would love to change something, but alas, I can't get to St. Petersburg, so this is the appeal to everyone:

Maybe someone wants to get together for an exchange of materials, entomological chatter, maybe even a few hikes???? And hold it in Ukraine, or in Moldova.. For example, in Odessa???? And then I will not be able to go far (although it depends on how far and what goals we will pursue..)

And another message:
In a year I go to a "camp" in the Carpathian Mountains (Ukrainian). That's 9 days in 60 euros. It doesn't have any lights or any other amenities, but it's very cool, and you can spend your days wandering around in the mountains, fields, or woods looking for insects, which is what I usually do there.. There are a lot of races there, the 4th starts on July 9, ends on the 19th (more or less adult people gather in this race), but if there is a large company, then you can go to the first and 2nd and 3rd.. All this is in the Ivano-Frankivsk region (on the Bystrica River, 9 km from the village of Bystrica). Departure from Moldova. In 2007, I suggest that you get together in a fun entomological company and go to catch insects (everyone has different knowledge of different beetles, different experience..). Here are a couple of examples of beetles that I caught there: Ropalopus ungaricus, Nivellia sanguinosa, Toxotus cursor, Judolia sexmaculata, Obrium brunneum, Evodinus clathratus, Tetropium castaneum, leptur's, all fishing was done only in July! Pseudogaurotina excellens is also found there.. which I failed to catch.. frown.gif
So let us know if you want!

I suggest we meet in the Caucasus. Somewhere in the region of Adygea!

30.03.2006 13:07, RippeR

I suggest you meet somewhere! In Crimea, too, you can get closer to

07.05.2006 10:42, Diogen

Unfortunately, the trip to Central Asia broke down. I'm flying to Canada as a matter of urgency.

So how about "meet"? (in the "professional" sense).

In my opinion, it would be more convenient to know "who does what" and then build on this information in establishing contacts, etc., etc.

For example, I recently defended my thesis (Biology Department of the Russian State University, Rostov-on-Don).
Here is a review of it:

Comrade Adamov wrote in his profile that he is interested in "general and theoretical biology, philosophy". I wonder what this means ?

Tov. Adamov wrote in his profile that he is interested in " general and theoretical biology, philosophy." I wonder what this means ?

I will soon publish a collection of articles: General and theoretical biology: on the essence of life. Issue 1. Rostov n / A: TSVVR Publishing House, 2006. - 102s.
It will contain both my article and a preface.

In general, I am interested in the most general questions: the essence of life; the origin of life; the evolution of life. As well as the development of the sciences themselves.

Either to graduate school (which is unlikely mad.gif), or for a job application.

Although free bread is also good...

If anyone is interested, there is a curious list of all dissertations (71) for 2003-2005 defended on the topic of Entomology.

Can you tell me if he has (is currently engaged in, is planning to) which of the students of the Rostov biofactory Institute are round-shouldered diptera? I myself am a dipter, I live near Rostov, perhaps we will cooperate.

I do not know such students. In general, with diptera, as well as with straight-winged ones, we have a problem at the department.

Except for my wife, no one else is engaged in Orthoptera, and seriously did not.

For more information about diptera, please contact Yuri Arzanov (yarzanov@yandex.ru). Write to them in detail what you are doing and want to do. Ask your questions directly.

I don't know how rich the Carpathians and Adygea are in butterflies, but as an amateur collector and traveler,it would be interesting for me to talk with professionals in my field, learn and see the world. Therefore, I am two hands "for" jump.gif

22.06.2006 11:37, Kovalevsky

Can I tell you more about the camp in the Carpathians? If it works out, I would get out there this year, there is still a lot of time before 2007

22.06.2006 13:49, Aleksey Adamov

By the way, we have empty summer houses at the biostation. I think you can settle for free (if you are a student or employee of a university). There are several natural monuments nearby (steppe), the Don Delta (almost all of it is visible) and the Tanais Museum-reserve. Rostov region, Myasnikovsky district, Nedvigovka village area.

22.06.2006 20:32, RippeR

Kovalevsky:
Well, the camp is good, what exactly do you need to know about it? I recently saw their ad, and they are already asking for 70 euros. In fact, it will be much better to take a train ride to the Carpathians and catch everything there nafig smile.gifWill be cheaper, with light (and therefore with fishing for light), the company is its own, purely entomologists (although who wants to take someone to do it), time will not be limited. In short, it will be much better!
And write about yourself at least a little bit, from what country, city, how many years smile.gifAfter all, the topic is called "Meet entomologists" smile.gif

23.06.2006 9:52, Kovalevsky

Well, actually, I'm not an entomologist, I'm more interested in botany (see bio-pictures), I'm just stuck smile.gifhere . I now work in Groningen, Holland, and I'm from Lviv, so I wanted to look for an inexpensive place for active recreation in the Carpathians - you need to do something during your vacation.

23.06.2006 12:43, RippeR

http://www.999.md/message.asp?s=126&m=1361957&pragma=36 then here's the link. What you want to know, ask. I don't know, maybe all the tickets for this year are already sold out, although they should always be there. In any case, departure from Chisinau. Think in general, decide.

23.06.2006 12:44, RippeR

http://www.999.md/message.asp?s=687&m=1223224&pragma=56 Apparently they have a lot of places smile.gifhere and the cost is lower and the age of participants is higher.. sometimes I don't understand them smile.gif

23.06.2006 14:13, sealor

I didn't understand, this is just me-in the text on the link message above link on the inscription / TOURS / leads to this topic on molbiol??

I also have this garbage

23.06.2006 22:55, RippeR

What kind of nonsense is this? I click on the link and there is a page with an announcement about the Carpathian camp, and you have a page with molbiol opens?? Straaanno

24.06.2006 0:37, Tigran Oganesov

I also have a transition to this topic. Funny...

24.06.2006 0:59, RippeR

On funny, not funnyfrown.gif smile.gif, I suggest adding this to the topic "oddities" in the Conversation (create such a topic) smile.gif

24.06.2006 11:05, Dmitry Vlasov

But I'm fine...

24.06.2006 13:21, nimu

and I have
a "from 3 years and older...." working for me, this is strong!! smile.gif

24.06.2006 13:34, Dmitry Vlasov

And the prices are growing! There are 60 evros in the March ad, and 70 in the May ad! And now you will have to drag gas with you at all, in Ukraine from July 1, it will almost double in price! Speedications are getting more expensive...

24.06.2006 21:42, RippeR

What gas, comrades! It's just like normal people - firewood smile.gif
The people who come there are absolutely different, there are not so many small ones.. More precisely, the first 2 arrivals - some small ones (except for instructors), 3-6 arrivals - people, mostly from 15 to 50, in 7-8 arrivals most people are adults, as people come in families, sing a lot to the guitar and collect mushrooms, and mushrooms are there-mmm..!! By the way, today some ryzhikov collected, and something else incomprehensible.
A couple of years ago I went, it was 50 pupaars, then 50 euros, then 60, now 70, outrageous frown.gif

25.06.2006 15:11, taler

to Ripper:
You don't need to experiment with strange mushrooms!!!I don't know if you'll have time to read it or not.....And ginger is a great mushroom!!!

25.06.2006 16:59, RippeR

And I'm not experimenting. If I know something well, I eat it, and if I don't, I even put it in a separate bag, so as not to mix the devil knows what with delicious food smile.gif
In general, my mother threw out the mushrooms while I was sleeping smile.gifAnd so at least ryzhikov would have cooked. True, there was not much there.. So, on the tooth

I'm thinking of taking a week off at the end of July. I want to go somewhere in the Caucasus or the Altai (I just returned from South-Eastern Ukraine, so I don't feel like going to the steppes anymore, and the forests look more promising at the end of July). However, I can consider other options. Accordingly, I am looking for a travel companion (although please note that I do not live in tents, but in hotels or holiday homes - if they are in the right area:)) from Moscow or a person on the spot who I could keep company with:). I collect a plate, some of the carabids, gold coins and various small things (such as hysterids and erotilids).

If there are such people, write to 2046@mail.ru
Sergey

Hi!
I am looking for a companion for traveling around the Moscow region (for beetles), as well as on not very long expeditions (7-10 days) in Russia and, possibly, the nearest foreign countries. 28 years old, no bad habits:)

If anyone is interested, write to rajaz@pisem.net Let's
discuss:)
