In the early 90's in Kamenushka was great! If you combine the guests
in the famous office of the "Fly-Butterfly" and the settlers in
the summer season in Kaimanovka and Kamenushka, the army of hunters sometimes
reached up to 35-40 people . At the same time, we all amicably trooped
around the neighborhood, and everyone had enough of their favorite game.
Kamenushka is an insect collector's paradise, it has everything!!!!!!!!!!

16.09.2008 16:31, Pavel Morozov

2 years ago, I calmly brought 2 (!) DRV-250 lamps in my hand luggage. No questions asked. In Nepal, I carried 250 lamps in my luggage, having previously covered them with cotton wool. In addition to them, there were also 2 DRV-160s that were traveling in hand luggage.
And you will need to take the screen, wire and cartridge (and spare cartridge)with you

In Kamenushka there is not everything, but almost everything.

So, who is in Primorye??? Don't go anywhere without me!)))))

Anatoly! Where can I go without you?
As they say, gathered in Primorye-start folding mattresses smile.gif

I carried this year in August 2 DRV lamps to Adler in my luggage - everything is calm.

17.09.2008 7:27, Sergey Didenko

DRV is good, except for the cartridge you don't need anything, and for DRL you need a throttle, which is very heavy for hand luggage. The company in Primorye is going to be cool!

17.09.2008 19:28, RippeR

and take me to Primorye weep.gif

18.09.2008 2:13, Karat

I would also like to go to Primorye next year! If nothing extreme happens to me during the winter, I would love to join the company....

18.09.2008 8:15, RippeR

see next year there will be a congress in Primorye of more than a hundred.. So the next entomological congress will be held in the Far East!! )))

18.09.2008 8:38, omar

I won't go tongue.gif

18.09.2008 10:09, Grigory Grigoryev

And that's right, don't ... smile.gif
These brave boys will break the State Nature Protection. By the way, all employees in Vladivostok get permission to catch insects every year. And here is such a " fun " company with rampets at the ready and with lamps on every corner.... Just a sin not to nail lol.gif lol.gif

18.09.2008 11:07, omar

And I will not buy out anyone smile.gif

18.09.2008 13:08, RippeR

Well, at least you'll sign the petition, I hope? wink.gif

18.09.2008 13:50, Alexandr Rusinov

But you will be shown on TV later... In the transmission of criminal news... Capture of a gang of poachers (in the background, riot policemen kick bags of butterflies with their boots) lol.gif lol.gif lol.gif

And in the news-stories about 20 kg of seized material, about sky-high prices for butterflies in Primorye, about the "Japanese-Russian syndicate" for catching and illegal trade in insects.
And reporters will say that now entomologists do not go in pairs as in India and Madagascar, but unite in large formations in order to fight back and catch more.

Otherwise, they will not get a sensation... And they will also say that most of the insects are listed in the Red Book, that their populations were almost undermined as a result of trapping... Only I think the grouping is more likely to be called Russian-Chinese, so it's more fashionable. smile.gif

18.09.2008 15:17, omar

Yeah. The Chinese only managed to get out of the cordon. BUT they will put you, gentlemen, in the most smelly cell with the Chinese. Real poachers who hunt tigers and bears smile.gif

05.10.2008 8:55, guest: Василий

And who will feel better about it?

07.10.2008 9:28, Grigory Grigoryev

Yes, everyone is joking!!! smile.gif

24.10.2008 21:18, Papis

I've been running through an idea for a long time.
I suggest as nonsense:
Putting together a team. Let it be 4 entomologists. Buy a compartment on the Moscow - Vladivostok train. We load there ourselves, as well as the appropriate equipment (tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, tattoo boxes, generator, etc.). Upon arrival in Vladik, we buy a car of the appropriate class (preferably 4X4 and roomy enough). This is a technical question, either through and-no, or through reliable friends.
And here we are in the Far East with equipment and on wheels. we hang out for 3-4 weeks in the full program (glasses, night fishing, etc.) People with limited time can join already there. We return to the CR on our own. If you have 2 drivers, this will not take much longer than the train. In Moscow, we rent a sharpener.
There are some quirks:
A good car weighs at least 300 kilorubles, but this money will be returned.
Obvious advantages:
Mobility, work in a class team, the possibility of night fishing almost anywhere in the Far East, nature all the way to Buryatia, the ability to cover a large number of groups, communication with entomologist brothers along the way, economy (in this scenario, the costs will be within 15-20 k rub people).
Non-obvious disadvantages:
These same 300 kilorubles, a disgusting road to Chita (but it is there!), force majeure, forest brothers.
It turns out to be a whole complex entomological expedition.
I am ready to go all the way from beginning to end, and I vote for it with my front paws.
Papis.
LET'S HIT THE ROAD RALLY AND SLOPPINESS!!!

24.10.2008 21:31, Pavel Morozov

to Papis: in short, you drive right-hand drive Japanese cars and sell them in Moscow.
Do I understand you correctly?"

OFF-ROAD CAR RACING AND SLOPPINESS !!!

If you go as you suggest, then you will get some kind of "Journey to the center of the earth": we will see a lot of things and NOT catch a lot of things.

25.10.2008 5:24, Coelioxys

Theoretically, such a journey is possible, but practically everything is much more complicated than you imagine and is feasible only if you have a reliable team of 4 people who are united not only by the love of beetles, but by very long business and friendly relationships (joint business, for example), and even better by a family connection. Only in this case, you have a chance not to quarrel on the way to Vdad and even more so not to start dividing the money with a non-existing car sale, etc
. I, of course, omit all other possible difficulties and troubles that a potential team will undoubtedly have in our Far East. Many of them are already perfectly represented...
It is easier to find an enthusiast with a car who will take you to interesting places for a certain amount of money. (For reference: the official rental of UAZ tablets in car depots is from 4 to 7 thousand rubles per day).
And just in case, I don't have any information about such enthusiasts, so I can't help wink.gifyou

And here we are on the DV ..... on wheels. we hang out for 3-4 weeks in full (glasses....)

Moths are not mentioned, but I hope they will be.... jump.gif

From those who are going to the Far East, no one wants to go to Kunashir? (just a tip, the fauna is interesting)

25.10.2008 9:15, Bad Den

Instead of 4x4 offer to buy "Zaporozhets" for 5-10 tr and then leave it there.
Judge for yourself - on a 4x4 you can climb into such a swamp, from where you can only pull it out with a tractor (folk wisdom - the steeper the jeep, the further you have to follow the tractor) a"Z" car is light, if it gets a little stuck somewhere - you can pull it out on your hands, but if it doesn't reach the swamp - then Krishna gives a sign that you don't need to go there; if he eats enough gasoline, he breaks down - it's not a pity.

25.10.2008 12:44, Dmitry Vlasov

I support Budden on Constipation. I had to deal with it in Central Asia - they climbed into the mountains on it where it was not comfortable to breathe, other "cars" stalled much lower...

25.10.2008 13:05, RippeR

but it's cold and uncomfortable, and it breaks down 10 times a day, isn't it?7

25.10.2008 19:23, Frantic

I propose to go to the yard in small groups of 5-6 people on carts with draft horses. On the way, you can make amazing collections from almost all the expanses of our beloved and vast homeland, as well as strengthen your health and gain strength. In addition, the slow pace of travel will allow you to completely abstract from the capital's rhythm.

How to find a place where you can buy Constipation in Vlad, tell us, very interesting tongue.gif

26.10.2008 22:04, Grigory Grigoryev

I join Maxim, in Vladik "Constipation" is a museum rarity. I think that you, gentlemen, will still have to buy some Japanese soap dish - then everything goes according to plan. But in fact, this is all complete nonsense (read the author of the idea). I think that everyone who joined understands that one-time "contributions" for the implementation of this project exceed the costs of using traditional methods of travel.

That's what I was talking about. Just feel the difference: ride a person on the asphalt during daylight hours or go for a few days in tmutarakan. After all, you are not interested in Sedanka and Sadgorod, but at least in the Blue Ridge and Khasan. Although, in any case, a private trader is cheaper, it's just that we have official financing, so we are forced to turn to carpool stores, accepting their predatory conditions.

I support the idea of a trip to the Far East. I've been dreaming about this for a long time. But I'm not ready to go there by train, only by plane. And you need to rent a car to someone you love, don't care at the carpool or from a private owner, as long as it's not killed. So I'm ready to keep you company.

28.10.2008 14:05, Sergey Didenko

And do not forget to get vaccinated in March-April. I'm definitely ready to go in July-August, by plane, for a maximum of 2-3 weeks. If someone else from the local community would have joined us there (Coelioxys, for example) Yes, I helped you better adapt to local conditions, it would be great in general. But in any case-I'm for.

28.10.2008 15:49, Coelioxys

In principle, it is discussed...
Although, there is little reason to go with butterfly houses:
1. neither a drink nor a snack ("we need to turn on the generator at night!", and the coasts and fishing times are completely different tongue.gif.)
2. From my experience of traveling with lepidopterists-biotopes that do not quite satisfy each other (there are options, but in most cases this is the case).
3. the presence of moth houses (in most cases from fans of beetles) hucksters taking butterflies out of boxes from under TV sets (nothing personal, but there are facts, and a lot of them)
4. free time (your plans, as everyone understands, above all, and, pulls far from Primorye lol.gif).
5. a potential company, but with whom (without prior acquaintance, etc., etc.) there is no special desire to travel (this is fair).
And in the rest-welcome to DV wink.gif

28.10.2008 17:16, Sergey Didenko

I immediately wanted to answer!
1. About a drink-a snack I think you got excited, despite the lamp at night. At least for myself and some others, I can say this for sure
2. Personally, I don't care about biotypes, because this trip to Primorye will be the first and everything will be suitable for me everywhere
3. What kind of TV boxes, in most of us collecting is a hobby and you only need it for yourself, well, maybe a little more for friends and acquaintances
4. Come to Moscow, we can organize joint trips, for example, to the PTZ, although I understand that after the DV Moscow is like a desert
5. This point is the most important, but in this case you can not do without risk. Although I think the risk is not great.

28.10.2008 17:17, Sergey Didenko

Yes, I forgot to add it. If only it could be combined with fishing...smile.gif

30.10.2008 20:44, Papis

We managed to catch fish even in Mongolia, and even the Mongols were surprised. They lived all their lives near this river (Khangai, Urd Tamir river) and were absolutely blown away when we started dragging fish from the river with spinning (Lenok, grayling). It was fun.
