I hope that the ban on the EXCHANGE of species from the above sources does not apply? Of course, I understand everything, but you can't seriously impose a ban on the types presented in the CC of Moscow and the Moscow Region? The delusional nature of these books is well-known and the event loses 90 % of all meaning if we focus on them. If we were going to Ryazan, for example, would we focus on the CC of the Ryazan region instead of the CC of Moscow and the Moscow Region? Rave! For example, there is a swallowtail in the Moscow Cultural Center. So what, now you tell me Pasha won't be able to bring a swallowtail back from Israel? If the CC of Moscow and the Moscow Region is not removed from the ban, the congress may lose half of its participants before it meets.

That is why it is important to publish new data on the Red Books - in order to clean up any banal stuff from the CC.
In the meantime, the lists are as they are , and they are the law for us.

Yes, I myself scratched the back of my head that they could at least indicate a subspecies for MO.And so any swallowtail is subject to a ban.
It all seems like an exotic exhibition. And people are interested in it, but not so much.
My suggestion is that the people who took the tables follow the adopted law.The rest in the pockets can bring Apollo and ornithopter.

Again, I remember an old joke about a forester, when asked by tourists whether it is possible to build bonfires here, who answered:: "Strictly forbidden", and to their own question about how there are so many brands here, they answered :" And those who did not ask if it is possible to build bonfires here..."

The organizers of the congress have the right to insure themselves against unnecessary legal and any kind of hemorrhoids by warning them, but we must understand this and not blame them, the unfortunate ones, for the mistakes of the CC, which are as clear and disgusting to them as to all of us. It's easy to stand up to the law with your chest behind their already frozen backs. As if someone gave them the right, for our convenience, to issue permits to participants of the congress for violations of the law, to interpret the specific prohibitions of the CC into subspecies ones, and so on.At the moment, the insuring of the organizers (and the entire event) in this matter only benefits the prospects of our common movement. In the end, no one can prevent anyone from entering into business contacts outside the rented premises. Are there not enough raspberries in Maryina Grove?.. And an event is an event.

Yes, you need to start from the beginning, that's right. But here one question is missing from the sdi message, which is still good if someone would clarify - the question of the possibility of pulling out a butterfly from Israel, a species protected in the Ministry of Defense, in Moscow for exchange. International restrictions on trade in rare species may not include a protected species in the Ministry of Defense, so does the Red Book ban of the Ministry of Defense apply to an individual caught, say, in Israel or Ukraine? Even if the letter of the law does not prescribe this, then according to the spirit of the law, the ban cannot and should not apply to extreme material. Personally, I can't imagine any other interpretation of the law in this matter. Even the penalties imposed by the legislation in accordance with the CC apply to individuals taken within the region of operation of the CC, which does not aim at protecting foreign fauna at all (otherwise it would also include specifically foreign rarities). The coincidence of a specific name is not yet a legal basis; it can only be based on taking an individual of a certain species within the scope of the CC. I can't imagine how the law could prohibit the import of dry goods to the Ministry of Defense! - a species recognized as rare in the Ministry of Defense (except for cases specified internationally)! If I'm wrong, let those who know the legal side of the case better correct me.

In this regard it is interesting to read the rules established at the Frankfurt Fair http://www.apollo-frankfurt.de/Tauboerse/regulations.html

And now about much more pleasant things.

The situation with the banquet/buffet was clarified, namely, the restaurant of the cultural center can be expensive.
But there is an option: you can arrange long tables with snacks along the edges of the hall, etc. It will be cheaper and looks more democratic or something. Food/drink options include sandwiches, pies, draught beer, cognac, wine, champagne, etc.

The participants ' opinion is very important, how to do it better-arrange a banquet in a civil restaurant, which is more expensive, or arrange tables around the edges of the main hall and celebrate the event in one hall?

06.09.2010 15:57, Bad Den

Pash, what is the price of the question in terms of person in the case of a restaurant?

Pash, what is the price of the question in terms of person in the case of a restaurant?

About 1000 rubles.... (Baltika-80 rubles, Tuborg-150 rubles, hot food about 450 rubles + miscellaneous...)

I'm for the gym. For a "piece" from a person, you can have so much fun....
Although if people vote for the restaurant, I will be happy to go to the restaurant.

I'm at the second table (so that the tables are in the hall).

06.09.2010 17:33, Zhuk

For the second one...

06.09.2010 17:42, Pavel Morozov

I'm also for the second

06.09.2010 18:39, taler

The fact is that the gym is rented until 17: 00.If you arrange it in the hall, then do it as a buffet. But before 5 o'clock, i.e. during our working times

06.09.2010 19:04, Pavel Udovichenko

The hall is ours for two days. I just set a time frame for the main event!

06.09.2010 21:40, Pavel Udovichenko

People! Speak up more actively! If we decide in the hall, we will have to warn the person responsible for food!
Yes, during the entire congress there will be a buffet with: draft beer, cognac-with, champagne, wine-with, pies with heat-with heat, sandwiches and other soft drinks. I tried to impress the barmen with the correct pricing policy, they promised....
But... we need to decide with the banquet!

06.09.2010 22:28, mikee

No, you just don't have to go anywhere after the congress. it's good when you can't go anywhere

06.09.2010 23:45, Vlad Proklov

If I say "restaurant", I will still be outnumbered, so the hall will be the best choice. smile.gif

Can't you sit in a restaurant outside the convention?
Having collected a plate from the buffet and walking with it, you will chat with a much larger number of people=)

Hello everyone.
I'll distract you from a pleasant topic.
Question to the organizers: how the event will be organized.
For example, I will need to drive the car directly to the entrance. is it real??

07.09.2010 10:04, Pavel Udovichenko

I will try to put restrictions at the entrance to the parking lot, for unloading (again, I will try!) Parking will be free, right at the entrance, but... it all depends on the amount of our own transport and agreements with each other (like, unloaded - go 10-50 meters to another place!)

07.09.2010 10:12, Meiji Techno

No question, I just need loading and unloading

in general, how early can you arrive?

I will need to install and configure everything.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The management of the establishment today requested an amount from us for holding a buffet on the spot until late in the evening!
I mean, I'll try to explain. We were allowed a light buffet until 18-19, but a thorough one is impossible (since the hall is a concert hall), but if you really want, you can, the price of the issue is 50 tr ( from everyone), not counting food.

Do you think we need it?????

07.09.2010 10:29, taler

Let's go to the pub.I also couldn't imagine how you could pig your food in a concert hall

07.09.2010 11:07, mikee

I'll be there at 8: 30. I think they'll let you in already! Entrance for participants who do not have a table - 10: 00!

ok. I will, you can also use your cell phone in pm? so as not to get lost

07.09.2010 12:09, taler

Now the picture with the banquet is becoming clearer-the price will be the same as for the tavern, but there will be no firebrands, how to cover it, and most importantly-to clean it up.After all, it is much easier to come to an institution designed for this purpose, get drunk(for those who want to), screw up (again, for those who want to), make the necessary exchanges/sales .Fortunately, the experience is already there. Moreover, the establishment is close to the event.
I'll make an appointment for the banquet right at the congress.
A few days before the congress, I put an end to all democracy. We try to meet the requests of all participants as much as possible. The number of participants is very large, and there are also a lot of requests. Not to please everyone.
